We stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Downtown Tampa and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of three, with plenty of room for our teenage son to move around comfortably. The hotel layout made it easy to navigate the property, including the pool area. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus and offered a wide variety of options each morning. The pool was clean, relaxing, and never felt overly crowded. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding customer service. Brunise went above and beyond to assist us with arranging shuttle transportation to the cruise port and explaining the parking options and payment process. She made us feel welcomed and at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel’s location is extremely convenient, with easy access to the Riverwalk, pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants, and the cruise port. It’s both family-friendly and pet-friendly, making it a great choice for travelers. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tampa.

Good value-hotel in Tampa’s channel district. Location is near cruise port terminals, easy access to downtown and historic Ybor via Streetcar. Publix and CVS are close by, as are many dinning options. Rooms may show a bit tired - AC in my room was a tad weak, blinds a bit tattered. There are some recent upgrades like a new TV. Sheets and towels were crisp and fresh. Rooms feature mini fridge and a microwave. Amenities include rooftop pool, fitness center, paid laundry, and a Starbucks. Breakfast is complementary, including hot and cold options. The waffle station is a favorite for families with children. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and very friendly.

This hotel is easily accessible to downtown, Tampa International, Amtrak etc. If you are lucky n call around 10 AM, u can get an early check in if your room is available.... there is numerous breakfast varieties, n customer service is great. Only con is parking is $40 a day even if you in a handicap spot n not in a garage..... The prize is highly steep. But all in all, a must stay if u are in the area.

The best thing about this place is the staff. The ladies at the front desk and the head of the house keeping staff are very kind to us and our kids. Great location with free shuttle to cruise port on both embarkation and disembarkation days. Teco street line, river walk, Publix and cvs all are near by best spot for a night or two before the cruise vacation. Only downside is how busy they get for breakfast and it was nothing like I have ever seen before.

We chose to stay at this property because of its close proximity to the cruise port we would be leaving from. But thats not what stood out most about our stay. Service was the best we've ever had. Everyone was friendly, courteous and ready to help. This was the desk clerks, breakfast staff, and shuttle driver. The shuttle driver let us know upon our return that we could store our bags at the hotel and use the amenities because our flight didn't leave until early evening. We would definitely stay here again.
