I stayed here to be within walking distance to Benchmark. I typically prefer to stay at non-chain hotels as they tend to have more character and are cheaper. I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Everything was sure easy, smooth, luxurious, and enjoyable here. Everything from parking, customer service, bar, room, pool, etc. were so polished, clean, and fun. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. My favorite part was the bartender on shift for the Florence and the Machine concert. This was also one of the most clean hotels I have ever been to. Can't wait to come back!

Every time I come to Tampa the Hyatt House is my favorite. The staff is friendly and the most helpful. Valet service is great. The location is convenient for anything you need for downtown or even if you need to drive a few miles away as I do when visiting USF Morsani Center. I would not choose any other hotel. High Five Hyatt!!!!

🌟 Outstanding Service at Hyatt House Tampa Downtown The Hyatt House Tampa Downtown is a beautiful and well-maintained property, offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Upon checking in, I experienced an issue where my reservation had been unexpectedly cancelled. Fortunately, Jary immediately noticed the problem and took ownership of the situation with exceptional professionalism and grace. Not only did she resolve the issue quickly, but she also went above and beyond to ensure that I received the perfect room. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly impressive. Jary displayed a high level of hospitality excellence—she was friendly, approachable, and always greeted guests with a warm smile that brightened the entire lobby. In addition to her great personality, Jary was extremely knowledgeable about the Hyatt brand and benefits associated with my loyalty status. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I was aware of all the amenities and perks available during my stay. For context, I typically stay with Marriott (Titanium Elite Member) and Hilton (Diamond Member)—brands known for their high standards of service. However, because of Jary’s outstanding professionalism, kindness, and genuine care, I will make it a point to book with Hyatt properties more frequently going forward. To Hyatt Management: Jary is a true asset to your organization. Her customer service skills, initiative, and positive energy embody the very best of what hospitality should be. Please recognize and commend her for delivering an exceptional guest experience that leaves a lasting impression. Room smelled like vomit. Donald was beyond the rudest Hyatt staff member I’ve ever encountered. I requested incense or maybe a spray to help mitigate the smell, anything I said in regard to the room was a made to be a giant inconvenience and completely dismissed. The day time team acknowledged the inconvenience but made no effort to correct it. I had to go out to buy Febreze and a plug for smell, the staff gave me credit for them in the morning. Beware of room 407, it smells like vomit. Asked to speak to the manager and was able to talk to a supervisor that offered a downgraded / standard room. This was my girlfriend’s work trip and tried to do something nice and get the room so we would spend time together. Instead it became the nightly attempt try to get rid of the smell. This was the worst Hyatt experience.

This is a nice hotel in a nice location downtown Tampa. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and nice views (I was 8th floor). Bathroom had a walk-in shower (no tub). In-room refrigerator and coffee pot (no microwave). The hotel offered free breakfast starting at 6:30am, which was nice. I’d be happy to stay here again.
