For the $500 we paid for a 2 night stay I was highly disappointed. I will not be returning. The beds are very springy and squeak just trying to lay on it. The granite counter at the sink was cracked in multiple places and appeared to be leaning downward. The shower was a nightmare. The water kept switching from hot to ice cold. My husband was the first person to get a shower Saturday morning and he had zero hot water. Not to mention there was a tiny stream of water and no water pressure at all and the floor of the tub was slippery. There were four of us that stayed in the room and only two towels. Forget about asking for more, I asked for one pillow in person Friday night and was told by the guy at the desk that he was alone and after checking in the next guest he would bring it and hours later never did. I called from the room and was told it was coming and it never did. The pool bar is shut down permanently so we were told we could go to the attached restaurant for drinks and we felt incredibly out of place. Everyone in there was dressed up and we weren’t as we had just drove three hours to get to the hotel. We paid almost $40 for 2 drinks, however, they were very strong. So for some that’s a deal. For me, it just tasted like drinking straight rubbing alcohol. There’s a free breakfast but first thing on a Saturday morning there was no milk. The waffle makers are hit or miss, the waffles come out doughy and half cooked. There’s plain bagels, cereal, apples, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, grits, and waffles. The poor girl at the front desk in the morning didn’t even want me using the women’s restroom in the lobby because all the people from the restaurant use it all night and housekeeping doesn’t clean it until later in the morning. She stopped me at the door and with the door open it smelled like someone pooped on the floor. She told me to use the restroom by the pool. The only positive about this hotel is there isn’t carpet on the floor! You can tell they’ve made updates to a really old hotel. But it’s just a mask.

I first want to highlight Amie at the front desk. She was the best thing about our experience. I had a situation upon arrival that she handled so kindly and professionally. I really appreciated her help and conversation. If every hotel had front desk staff like her, it would make for better experiences. The hotel was close to where we needed to be and it wasn’t terrible for the price. It seemed like they were doing some renovations which I think are needed to update the hotel. The outward walls/window are pretty thin so you can hear the people outside walking or by the pool. I thought the pool was really nice. Wish there was a jacuzzi. The lobby at night is loud because of the Latin restaurant. We did check that out and seemed like it was really popular. I like that you can’t really enter the hotel without scanning your key card. Breakfast was slim pickings. Overall ok, it’s not a 5 star resort but seems like they are trying to improve.

We traveled from Georgia to Tampa for Day 3 BTS concert and we booked from Sunday to Wednesday morning. The staff was absolutely sweet! Big shout out to Ron who was such amazing help for when our room key wasn't working and our light went out for the bathroom. They pool and the hotel in general was so pretty. I love the gate they have all the way around, made me feel safe. I would definitely be booking at this hotel everytime I go to Tampa. I love the snacks they have too! I was constantly going to the lobby for snacks and drinks at night.

Amazing stay, the staff was professional and inviting. Amie checked us in and she was extremely helpful and courteous. I cant remember the young lady name at check out, however she was amazing as well. I stayed at this property a total of 4 nights and I have no complaints. I will be back whenever I’m back in the area.

Tub was dirty, walls were dirty, A/C stopped working, sound proofing between rooms are non existent. Be prepared to hear EVERYTHING (be weary when children are with you). The pool area and lobby were really nice.
