The hotel is in a decent location - right off the highway and scenic routes. The rooms could use some upgrades but not terrible for the cost. Haven't tried breakfast. Housekeeping comes too early but efficient with requested items. Love mini fridge and microwave in room. Water pressure ok. View to be desired. Staff was nice and checking was seamless. Over a good experience but some paint could do wonders.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I had a very frustrating experience with this hotel. I booked this originally through Priceline and billed it with a card with a name different than the name on the reservation (it was for my sister and I used my card on Priceline). When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk clerk was very hostile about the fact that the names did not match, asked for my phone and to turn the camera on, took a picture of signage behind the desk, and then made me read it aloud. That signage stated the name on the card and reservation had to match. This was not listed on Priceline and Priceline allowed me to make the booking. However, Priceline does not let you change the name on the reservation after it has been booked. As a result, I had to rebook the room on the spot and charge my account twice, and it took over a week to get refunded through Priceline for my original reservation (due to them needing manager confirmation/approval from the hotel). It seems this hotel does not like third party reservations and has their own booking policies (never had an issue using different cards and name reservations at other hotels like the Hilton). If that is the case, La Quinta should not allow reservations to occur on Priceline or state clearly this policy online that is hidden behind their front desk counter at check-in. I was taken aback that my phone was taken out of my hand to take a picture of a sign I could not even read on my own or had no prior knowledge to when booking online. This was a very frustrating experience. On a positive note, the rooms were very clean and looked nice for the area. Breakfast was nice as well.

Great location the hotel and property grounds are maintained daily. They provide a filling complimentary breakfast just enough to get your day started. I've stayed here several times and the rooms are clean. I did experience an issue with the TV and the AC not working properly in the room but it was manageable.

So first I want to say I was never going to leave a review but the owners at this location are horrible. When I first arrived I went in to verify that they would take my id before I booked on booking.com. After the confirmed I booked worse mistake of my life. When I came back in a guy was going off because they wouldn’t print him a receipt. The guy behind the desk ignored him then threatened to call the cops. It all went to hell from there. I was at one point hiding in the breakfast area. It was so bad at one point I just told the owner I would come back later40 min later the guy is just leaving the cops are leaving and I just wanted to go to bed. Week later I am charged 30 dollars I call to find out why they charged me for towels. I asked what was wrong with the towels only thing I could think of was makeup. I’ve stayed at 100 of hotels never ran into this issue my makeup isn’t water proof so not sure why it couldn’t be cleaned. Then the guy tells me he sent pictures to booking.com. This is a lie they never sent them any pics. I’m going to dispute the charge. But this place is a scam and I completely understand why that guy messed their stuff up. Also they have really cheap hard thin towels. No way they cost 30 dollars maybe a dollar at the dollar tree

When I search for hotels I filter by "free breakfast" and "fitness center". I feel swindled- I would not have considered staying here if I had known the circumstances. Fitness room was closed -seemingly due to mold- and breakfast was a few wrapped muffins and coffee. The hotel does have a bad odor, too, and Im usually pretty tolerate of such. 2 stars and not 1 because my sheets were clean! Thank you for that, Maria. :)
