Sharisse a month agoI had a wonderful experience at the Omni Atlanta Hotel while attending the Black Romance Book Festival. My positive experience began even before I arrived. Laurisa Guillaume, the Loyalty Ambassador, reached out to welcome me and ask if there was anything I needed prior to check-in. That level of personalized service immediately made me feel valued as a guest. While the parking fee of $65 per night was higher than I would normally pay, it provided peace of mind knowing my vehicle was secure while I was visiting from out of town. Laurisa also thoughtfully provided information about alternative parking options, which I greatly appreciated. Additionally, she ensured that I received the Centennial Park view I had requested. Every staff member I encountered during my stay was friendly, professional, and accommodating. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I opted out of daily housekeeping services, but when I needed my trash emptied, I simply sent a text message and someone arrived promptly to take care of it. There was some noise during my stay, which was understandable given that the event I was attending attracted more than 3,000 attendees. However, it was never disruptive enough to diminish my overall experience. I typically stay with family when visiting the Atlanta area, but after this experience, I would absolutely recommend the Omni Atlanta Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed hotel in downtown Atlanta. I would gladly stay here again and look forward to returning if the opportunity arises.
Sam Whaley (Stars) a month agoService was astounding, but the rooms are very small and there were no dressers. This was a small issue for our party of 5 folks staying over 5 nights/6 days, but it was not the worst by any means. The pool was nice, the staff was incredible, and I have to compliment the bellhops for how lovely and careful they were during load out and load up. Room keys worked and it was easy to get more, and the facilities were very clean. Elevators were very nice and we enjoyed so much of our stay!
Nicka C a month agoThe location of this hotel was great and very convenient for downtown Atlanta, but unfortunately, that was the only positive part of our stay. The room had significant plumbing issues. The bathroom sink would take 30–40 minutes to drain after simple tasks like brushing your teeth or washing your face. The bathtub drained just as slowly, leaving you standing in dirty water while showering. Housekeeping was also disappointing. The towels were dirty, and after requesting replacements, it took nearly an hour for fresh towels to be delivered. The checkout experience was the final frustration. We had already confirmed with the front desk two days before departure that we would be checking out at noon, which is the checkout policy posted inside the room. The employee assured us this information would be added to our file. Despite that, on the morning of checkout, three different staff members knocked on our door asking when we were leaving. Between the plumbing problems, housekeeping issues, and poor communication among staff, this was not a pleasant stay. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend this hotel.
Granny Dot 5 months agoThe negatives are there is no hand soap in the bathrooms. The front desk won’t call you a taxi or help with transportation. No one helps you with your luggage fron the taxi. To get a door dash order you have to hunt down the location and it’s basically outside just sitting unguarded on a corner table near the parking garage. They make you pay an additions charge of $10 a day to use their wifi. I booked through delta so my price was good but the website was three times as much. For a high end hotel I would expect assistance with these things. The rooms are clean. The view from the premium room with a view was good. The temperature in the rooms was easily regulated. Bed not very comfy though. If you don’t mind paying a lot for location and a clean room with no hand soap and no assistance, book it.
Jeremy Holderfield 4 months agoIf you book a room here, there’s a great chance you won’t be able to actually get into your room until after 7. They have a lot of conferences and they’re not equipped to handle that many people. When we arrived at 4 there were probably 100 people standing to the side of the front desk hoping that their room would come available. Some of them checked in as early as 8:30 that morning. I understand not being able to get into your room until 4. But we checked in at 4, and my wife and I stood in the lobby waiting for a room until 6. Since we had an awards dinner at 6, we both had to change in the bathrooms in the lobby. We finally got a text at 7:10 that our room was available. After waiting all this time, we didn’t get the King room. They put us in a double. If you don’t have to stay here, I wouldn’t. The room itself is pretty nice, but it’s just not worth the other hassles you’ll have.
