My partner and I used this hotel for an event at the world congress center at the end of May. The location is perfect. short walk to the convention center, restaurants and across the street from the aquarium and other attractions. On arrival the only place to pull in and unload appeared to be the valet area. The valet staff are all amazing, nice and quick to help. Check in took a little bit of time because of a computer issue but not a big deal there. Valet is the only parking option- keep that in mind. The room itself was large clean and comfortable. My only issue was the lack of clothes storage. there are no dressers. the stand in the room housed the refrigerator and microwave. The king sized bed was comfortable. the AC worked very well. Shower had good water pressure. The in room refrigeration was small but very cold. some of our items were frozen. There can be some noise from the road which should be expected for being in a city. bring some ear plugs if that could bother you. Breakfast was included and had plenty of options for you. The seating for breakfast was a bit small and crowded at times. There is a little market next to the desk has drinks and snacks to buy. It was a little pricey for what you got. Overall a good stay. would consider staying there again.

Ruby was very pleasant at time of arrival. Check-in was fast and smooth. The king suite with panoramic view is awesome, so happy. Ruby asked what brought us to Atlanta. We mentioned it was our 30 year anniversary. Later that day we returned from dinner and found a gift bag with some snacks and a hand signed anniversary card from Ruby and the hotel staff, very sweet. Hotel location is perfect for visiting the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca Cola, they are right across the street, nice.

My family and I stayed here Thursday–Saturday (Suite 720) during a weekend trip to the Aquarium, after it was recommended by a friend. Check-in was pleasant — Desiree at the front desk was kind and informative, and valet staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the stay itself was extremely disappointing. Shortly after arriving, the AC began blowing hot air and wouldn’t turn off. Maintenance temporarily fixed it, but the issue kept returning. The room also did not feel clean for a $500-per-night suite — stained couches, unswept floors, and a chipped, dirty headboard. The shower was another major issue. The water was nearly scalding and would not cool down, making it unsafe to bathe our 14-month-old. The next morning, my husband had the same problem. Water pressure was also very weak. When the AC failed again, we requested a room change. We were moved to Room 620, but the key didn’t work. With a toddler and luggage, we waited in the hallway while my husband returned to the desk. We were then reassigned again — this time to Room 1020. No assistance or luggage cart was offered during these room changes. The third room at least had functioning AC, though it made a loud, high-pitched metal noise constantly. We also found a large stain on the bed sheet, which raised concerns about cleanliness. The shower in this room was much better. Breakfast hours were listed as 6:30–9:30 a.m., but at 6:40 there was no hot food out and the lights were still mostly off. Food and lights were not ready until nearly 7:00. Additionally, housekeeping knocked at 8:30 a.m. to ask about checkout, waking our daughter. Although most staff were polite, concerns were dismissed. I was told water pressure was weak in all rooms, which was not true based on our final room. Given that we paid $1,100 for two nights (likely due to the cheer competition that weekend), we expected far better quality and service — especially without needing to switch rooms three times. The location is convenient to the Aquarium, though the street noise is significant. Overall, this stay made what should have been a special family weekend very frustrating. I would not recommend the suite rooms.

The breakfast experience is nothing short of superb. The quality, presentation, and consistency reflect thoughtful management and a commitment to excellence that exceeds expectations for a hotel of this category. What truly distinguishes this property, however, is Mrs. White’s willingness to make the hotel feel like a home away from home. That level of intentional hospitality cannot be trained—it is led. As someone who travels frequently and stays in hotels across the country, I can state without hesitation that this location has become my exclusive choice. I will only reside at this SpringHill Suites, and that decision is directly attributed to Mrs. Ruby White. Her leadership, character, and commitment to excellence are the reason this property stands apart. Mrs. White is an asset not only to this hotel, but to the Marriott brand as a whole.

The hotel location was fantastic! Walkable to all downtown attractions. However, there was some sort of nightclub next door that absolutely blared music late (still going on at midnight when we finally fell asleep). It was incredibly loud in our room which was on the 11th floor. Parking is tough- one way in and out, but the valet staff was great! For a family traveling together, the noise was an issue for us and we wouldn’t stay again despite the location.
