Couldn’t be more pleased with this hotel. Minneapolis needed a five star hotel, and Four Seasons delivered. Loved the fourth floor rooftop where you could enjoy the rooftop pool, the fire pits and great restaurant. Had Sunday brunch downstairs and all of our guests gave it five stars. It would be hard to come back to Minneapolis and not stay at the 4S.

I had the absolutely pleasure of photographing a wedding recently at the Four Seasons in Minneapolis. I’m grateful to get to photograph in a variety of locations, and I have to say, the Four Seasons definitely stands out as an absolute treasure. Located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, you’re surrounded by delicious food, vibrant art, a gorgeous rooftop with amazing cityscape views, and beautiful parks nearby. The hotel itself is just what you’d expect- luxury meets impeccable service. I think that is what made such an impact on me- the wonderful service. All the staff that I encountered were so incredibly kind, helpful, and were genuinely happy. It’s the kind of inviting environment you want to be in. It’s an amazing location for a wedding or event! I cannot wait to photograph there again!

Stayed for a weekend with my wife and daughter. We had a great stay. The room was very spacious with great views of the skyline and the Mississippi River. We enjoyed using the pool and had a good breakfast at Mara. The room price is definitely higher than other options in downtown Minneapolis, but worth it IMO. We would definitely stay here again.

The Four Seasons in Minneapolis is not a luxury hotel; it’s another overpriced hotel of which there are many today. If you’re truly interested in an actual luxury hotel with suites that are actually that, consider a Sofitel Hotel. Unfortunately, there aren’t any in Minneapolis but they’re in most other large U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C. There is nothing about this hotel that speaks luxury.

More like 2.5 seasons. We’ve stayed at multiple four seasons hotels. We are MPLS locals and came for the first time for our wedding. It did not meet four seasons standards. First, we were on the 25 floor and there was trash sitting out for DAYS. Second, our room was not serviced unless there was a request. We are used to daily housekeeping PLUS turndown. Third, dusty rooms. We are not paying $1k per night for dust. Fourth, had to call the front desk multiple times for simple requests. Please don’t “confirm” if you are going to call and ask me the same questions. Fifth, fake flowers. What? Sixth, the one redeeming quality was the service staff, who worked with us 1:1. Shout out Carlos and John. As a whole, I would recommend spending your money at a smaller boutique hotel in Minneapolis. The location here does not live up to the name. If you want to spend money on a luxury experience go elsewhere. Spoke too soon, we have a 7th issues upon check out. Again, don’t tell us that you are providing a service and then make us wait. I specially asked that you get all our stuff so we wouldn’t be late for our 1 pm appointment.
