There was dark hair all over the bed and in the bathroom. Apparently our room wasn't cleaned very well. As much as we were charged you would think the room would be at least cleaned nicely. *Edit* I'm blonde and my husband is light brown haired. This hair was very dark.

Everything was perfect. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Many patients and their families from the Cleveland Clinic stay here, and the hotel is very flexible with changing reservations because of changing medical needs. The hotel is in easy walking distance from the main centers of the Cleveland Clinic, but they also have an efficient shuttle every 15 minutes to take patients where they need to go. The rates are affordable. We have been to the Cleveland Clinic many times over the last 20 years, and this is the place we will stay from now on.

Stayed here while preparing to have bariatric surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Also Stayed here 3yrs ago when getting my liver transplant at the Cleveland Clinic! Both stays were great!!!! Rooms are always clean, large and comfortable and the staff are always very polite and accommodating!!!! The Cleveland Clinic main hospital is only .20mi away!! There are shuttles that run every 10 to 15mins from the front door of the hotel to the front door of the hospital!! You can use Valet parking, the hospital parking garage or if you're lucky there are 3 Handicap spaces and a few parking spaces on the side road next to the hotel!! That allows you to utilize the door to door shuttle service for your transportation needs which is a tremendous weight off your shoulders!!!! Overall our experience here has been nothing less than perfect!!!! We will always stay at the Holiday Inn Cleveland Clinic when visiting the Cleveland Clinic!!!!

In general, the staff is underprepared to handle guests' demands. I arrived at the hotel on Saturday night, June 6th, and requested an extra set of towels and two additional pillows, since we were a group of four and there were only enough for three. After waiting longer than 1 hour, the lady at the reception desk rudely said, before I finished speaking, that she had already requested my toilet paper and that I had to wait. I told her I hadn't asked for toilet paper and repeated what I actually needed. Finally, after 20 minutes, the housekeeping team showed up with what we needed. I reported the issue to the receptionist during our checkout on June 7th, and I understood that the hotel was aware of the issue, as this was not the first time this employee had been rude to guests. My question is, if the management is aware of this issue, why haven't they already dealt with it? Underprepared, rude, and impolite employees must not be permitted in any kind of hotel. That was by far my worst experience at a Holiday Inn.

The location if you are going to the hospital is perfect because they have the free shuttle that will take you every ten to fifteen minutes if you call or let the valet know. The price for rooms is way too high for what is offered. Most people stay there because they are visiting the hospital and are most likely never in the rooms, so you shouldn't have to pay almost $300 a night, especially when the doctor bills are already soul crushing. Bring the price down to $125 or $150 at the most and free parking too.
