Rosa Ubaldo a month agoStayed here for a couple of nights on vacation and had a wonderful experience. The service was so friendly and helpful, everyone was so kind. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of downtown and I was able to walk to so many great restaurants and shops and attractions and felt safe doing so as a solo female traveler. The rooms were comfortable and clean though a little dated. I got an arcade facing room and the view was awesome. The only reason I knocked a point off was this: the window coverings were those wooden slats so they didn't block light super well and a few of them were broken and wouldn't stay closed and then the other windows in the room faced the parking garage next door so light pollution was a little brighter than a standard hotel room. I always travel with a sleep mask so I wasn't too bothered but putting it out there for others.
Dan M 3 months agoWe recently stayed at Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade, and the first thing that stands out is how absolutely stunning the building is. The Arcade itself is an architectural masterpiece. From the elevator notes and historical information, we learned it was originally built in 1890, and it’s incredible to think about the level of craftsmanship that went into a structure like this over a century ago. The massive glass ceiling, the ironwork, and the overall design make it feel more like you’re staying inside a historic landmark than a typical hotel. Walking through the Arcade is honestly an experience by itself. You can’t help but stop and look around because the entire space is so impressive. Considering what it must have cost to construct something like that back then—what would likely be hundreds of millions today—it really puts into perspective how ambitious the project was at the time. Our room was very nice, clean, comfortable, and exactly what you would expect from a Hyatt property. We did run into a small issue during our stay, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally, which really made the difference. Sometimes things happen when you travel, but what matters most is how a hotel responds—and in this case they took care of it right away. Because of that, this will absolutely remain a five-star stay for us. The building itself is breathtaking, the location downtown is excellent, and the staff showed that they care about making things right for their guests. If you’re visiting Cleveland and want to stay somewhere with real history and incredible architecture, the Hyatt inside the Arcade is a truly memorable place.
A Edwards a month agoBeautiful hotel. Overall, I had a great experience. Upon checking into my room, I noticed there was no toilet paper. I called the front desk and spoke to Anthony to send some up, but nothing happened. The next morning, I asked for toilet paper and spoke to Jena before my meeting. When I returned to the room later that evening, there was still no toilet paper. I went to the front desk, and finally, Mekai provided me with some. My issue isn't the room not having toilet paper, but the number of times I had to request it before it was finally provided. That in itself says a lot. The food at the on-site restaurant was wonderful.
Tyler Zubkoff 2 months agoWe had a great stay overall and rooms were clean! The only issue we had was with the valet parking it took over 25+ minutes for our car each time, and no one asked us if we needed help standing outside, but management at the front desk were understanding and very helpful from check in and check out. The arcade is beautiful and I’d highly recommend staying here just park at another location if possible or you plan to use your car.
That Hungry Panda 7 months agoA few things to note before you book: 1. There is no free hotel parking. The lots nearby will be roughly 20$ a night. Really my only criticism. (Seriously billion dollar hotel chain yet 0 parking). 2. If you stay in the "arcade" side, make sure there isn't a reddit venue as the noise can and will radiate into you room. 3. Make a free Hyatt account to get like $50 ! night off. AAA discounts too. Rooms were clean, check in was easy and efficient. Nice view of the arcade building. Bathroom was spotless, and not even a single bit of grime noticeable.
