Lost $600 from hotel computer bug. Staff refused to acknowledge was unreasonable. Seeking a 6/15-17 stay starting the next day (Mon), fat fingered 6/14-17, starting Sunday, 1130pm the night of booking. Showed up Mon afternoon to check-in. Find my mistake, I’d overpaid for 30 mins of an empty room. Nbd, I said, my mistake, I’ll eat it. But the computer canceled my entire stay as a “no show.” No call, email, msg from hotel. Now Expedia says no refund if YOU cancel. But the hotel canceled. Mind you this was 16h after submitting, I hadn’t missed any next day’s check-in time. Simply, the computer’s date field ticked. Staff acted like cops, overtalking, rehashing the mistake I’d owned to pretend they couldn’t see the absurdity of a no-contact cancellation. I wasn’t seeking to excuse my mistake, just some human responsibility for the compounding effect of brittle computer policies. They “couldn’t” contact me b/c Expedia keep client info confidential –> relay service. They “couldn’t” refund me b/c Expedia sets policy -> not true. They had vacancies, and the help they could offer was letting me book again (so pay twice!). I left. Later two separate Expedia reps confirmed the hotel approves refunds. They contacted a there Katherine who denied both requests for the unused nights. tldr; Nice hotel-shaped AirBnB. Don’t prepay. Don’t expect professional service if a mistake happens. Policies aren’t accidental. Update: Submitted the above review to Expedia. They kept my star rating, but wrote their own positive narrative section! Won't be using them anymore either. Scams everywhere.

Catherine and Christopher were extremely helpful at the front desk. Very grateful for them and their hospitality! Thank you sooo much you guys, you made the trip extra for us and we are very grateful! Just an overall amazing experience there. Allowing us a late checkout with no issues, leaving our bags after we checked out to go meander the city for a couple of hours was super helpful. The valet parking was amazing. They are super friendly! Thanks Jay!! Great location.

I rarely write reviews for hotels but the entire experience from the reception to room to restaurant was so strong. It’s clearly evident that the staff take pride in the work and facility. After flight delays caused a last minute booking the hotel was extremely accommodating. The room was pristine and the entire facility well cared for. The location was a surprise and I will certainly return. A special shout out to Tanya working breakfast service. This lovely lady worked an extremely busy breakfast service seemingly alone out front with strong back kitchen support. What stood out was her extremely friendly and attentive manner to everyone. Congratulations on an outstanding job! Thank you

This hotel had a great location and was everything we could have wanted for the weekend. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. I was a bit nervous about putting 3 adults in a 2 queen room, but it worked out perfectly. The hotel was walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Overall, it was a great landing spot for our weekend in Philadelphia. I’d definitely stay here again.

Our family and school came down for Penn Relays and stayed here. The location was good. Valet parking was nice and easy maybe a little pricey. The rooms were very nice and clean. We had great service at the bar with Ashley handling us from 7am coffee to cocktails at midnight .
