Everyone and every place have off days. This serves as a reminder for the establishment to step it up, slacking does not befit you. That said, the location is great. Across the street is the historical Reading Market, close enough to the boardwalk to walk, and across the street from the convention center. All historical attractions are a very short cab ride or within 20-30 minutes walk time. In some cases that is round trip. Other interesting attractions can be visited with a short cab ride, public transit or your own vehicle. TLDR: *Mostly clean establishment *Not vegan friendly or gluten free *Sensitive skin folks be wary of linens *Service was only great when we were checking out. *Some carelessness in repairs, maintenance or cleaning. *Convenient for families and small groups *Micro kitchen with dishwasher and full sized refrigerator. *Minor inconveniences aside, we enjoyed our stay. *Be sure to state when you check in how you would like your bill to be paid during checkout, they will Not ask you. The full review: The hotel is modern and was comfortable, the lobby is spacious and they offer a continental breakfast in the morning. The rooms were ok, it served our purposes. Equipped with a dishwasher, full sized fridge, microwave and sink, one could feasibly prepare low effort food. The space works for a couple or two-three individuals traveling together. A small family would also be comfortable in this suite. We had two full sized beds and a couch that could pull out into an additional bed. There are different sizes of rooms, find the one that fits your group. For my specific dietary needs folks, the breakfast is not vegan or gluten free friendly, prepare or walk across the street. My friend had a reaction to the sheets and towels, our assumption is that the detergent was disagreeable with her skin. If you are very sensitive to detergents be mindful. We had an issue with our sink and some items being out of place, which we reported as soon as it was noticed on the first day of our stay. It did not get addressed before check out. During check out, the on duty clerk did not ask us about how we wanted to settle up, which caused some inconvenience, however when the manager was called a discount was applied to our stay. Discounts are nice, but I would rather have the service and things made right during our stay. There are many cultural areas near the hotel, the closest of these is Chinatown. Be sure to check them out during your stay!

Room was spacious with a nice kitchenette with stocked flatware and silverware. Continental breakfast had a great selection. Staff is attentive and responsive. It is located right across the street from the Reading Terminal Market, where there is a wide variety of eateries and small food and craft vendors. Chinatown is also nearby, and it is close to public transportation.

Decent hotel is a great location. I reserved two adjoining rooms that, when put together, created a space large enough for a group of 5. The kitchen area and bathroom were clean, but the carpet in the bed side was meh. The queen size bed was hard and stuff as if the box could have been upgraded. The staff were very accommodating and the hotel is perfectly situated near the convention center, reading terminal, and market street. The proximity to attractions does make it a bit noisy during the day. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

What an unforgettable experience! Most hotels charge extra for wildlife encounters, but this one included a mouse in the room at no additional cost. It’s not every day you get to share your accommodations with an unexpected furry guest. The room itself appeared to have missed a few cleaning appointments, which in hindsight may explain why the local rodent population felt so welcome. Nothing says “relaxing getaway” quite like wondering whether the scratching noise you hear is the air conditioner or your new roommate. While the staff acknowledged the issue, I was disappointed that management did not feel a full refund was warranted for a room that was both unclean and occupied by a mouse. I booked a hotel room, not a nature exhibit. If you’re looking for cleanliness, comfort, and peace of mind, you may want to look elsewhere. If you’ve always wanted a budget version of a wildlife safari, this might be the place for you.

The service we received was excellent. Everyone from front desk to housekeeping was friendly and eager to help. The hotel is clean and the location is excellent. They offer a decent hot breakfast. Could have used some more fresh fruit variety. They did a great job accommodating volleyball players and their families for a volleyball tournament.
