Was staying for a conference. The room was nice enough. plenty of outlets and USB plugs for electronics, great WiFi, good lighting, good blackout shades, VERY comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Fridge, coffee maker, safe, iron and ironing board.. everything you need for business or personal travel.. Nickpick for me was a great HD TV but with only half the channels in HD. We also had a room facing the interior lobby, which was a bit noisy depending on how active things were. The had earplugs on the nightstand, which should have been a clue, so ask for a room facing outside if you want a better chance at peace and quiet. The front desk staff were absolutely wonderful! The conference facilities and staff were great. Terrific service and no technical glitches as far as I know. Good location, walking distance from pretty much anything you needed, including historical sites. Not a high vehicle traffic area and it was very safe as far as I can tell. I'd stay there again, just not in a room facing the interior.

The location is hard to beat, close to a lot of great restaurants and all the attractions. The rooms were nice as well. The only concern is that some rooms are close enough to the ballrooms that music could be heard from the event. We also had issue with the toilet running. Otherwise the stay was excellent.

The first room I stayed in has roaches in it and hair all over the beds. I found roaches the next morning after my first night and was immediately disgusted because they were in the bathroom and likely touched all of my products and toothbrush. That was room 4032. I was then switched to room 2139 and all was well until I started using the desk and it smelled like urine. Then I looked underneath the desk and there was what I assume dog feces based on the smell. Absolutely horrible and as a platinum member I never expected to have an experience like this at a Marriott. Will never return. Also the front desk didn’t care about the roaches and acted like they’ve heard this before. And when checking in the front desk lady was FaceTiming her boyfriend while he was shirtless. No care for her job and was not professional. If this hotel was nice I’d come back primarily for the location but unfortunately it was worst than a motel 6. Even motel 6 A/C works better than what they had in these rooms.

My wife and I hosted our wedding at the Marriott Old City. Samantha was amazing to work with! She is very punctual, understanding, professional and knowledgeable. Great communication and really helpful in orchestrating the venue resources to meet our vision and address any concerns. The pricing packages were very transparent and inclusive. The venue itself was gorgeous and hospitable to us and our guests. We really appreciate all the staff, from the bellman to the housekeepers for making our day special and our stay fantastic!

Nice hotel in a great location that’s walkable to historical sightseeing landmarks but parking is a complete rip off. I thought I was paying $59 per night for forced valet but they consider a Chrysler Pacifica minivan an “oversized vehicle” and it ended up costing over $97 per night to park. Get rid of your rental car and Uber wherever you can’t walk. Rooms were updated and spacious. Lobby area is very nice. Only complaint was the criminal parking fees.
