Be aware of this place. My Husband and I came to check the availability for a hotel room. We were only in town for the night for the baseball game. The front desk individual told us they had one last room available for $229. Very expensive, however, we were in a bind. We agreed and gave him a license and credit card. He gets the card and taps it for me and the price was $291. It would have been nice to know the TOTAL cost after taxes and fees. We questioned it because he told us the total cost would be only that $229. Still shocking not to be told the actual total. We more than likely would have searched elsewhere. Room was decent. The bedding smelled off but we were only there for the evening so we did not complain. We were told we got complimentary breakfast, which in fact when we went to eat we did not. I asked Miranda at the front desk about it and she told me in a snarky way it was not included. I expressed my concerns about the price of the room, not being told the actual price after taxes and fees and her response was that I could have cancelled the room. I do not want to call Capital One on my vacation to dispute a charge! She gave us the voucher after not hearing my frustrations and having attitude. My husband and I went to check out and she said “I won’t even ask, I already know” I assume she was going to ask how we enjoyed our stay? We did not. Kids pulled the fire alarm at 5 am, they just grabbed our card and took it upon themselves to tap and not tell us fees and did not actively listen to our frustrations. Miranda then asked “Did I do something wrong?” Then proceeded to tell us “See you next time” very bizarre. I’ve never had a bad experience at a Holiday Inn but this Arlington location changed my mind completely.

The lobby and guest services was great. I was disappointed with the room. The beds were hard as a rock. I already have back issues and this did not help. I found myself up all night trying to get comfortable. The TV was old. So you could not stream. There was not even a USB connection. You would have need an hdmi cord. The AC was not on in the room, so with 90 degree temps it took a while to cool down. You have to change the AC to high and constant fan. Parking was an extra $10. The hotel Was close to the local attractions and there was a trolley, so that was nice. Gym was small, but adequate. The treadmill did not work. Also, the entry doors to the hotel were broke. There was a restaurant in the hotel, but had a very limited menu. There was an IHOP that was nextdoor, so that was convenient. Overall, with all the choices out there, I would probably choose a different hotel. a trolley.

Donovan , the front desk concierge, has been such a great help to me and a breath of fresh air. I was born and raised in Texas but moved away due to the military and after years of not coming home , the Texas hospitality still rings true! I was so impressed that my beloved whataburger delivered to my hotel room. What service !! Just amazing !! I traveled all day to get here and the nicest people greeted me at this hotel and that’s all I needed to finish off and close my day ! I’m here for training and this hotel offers shuttle service as long as it’s within a small radius so now I don’t have to walk in a area I’m unfamiliar with at night when my training is concluded. A big thank you to Holiday Inn !

My partner and I were very impressed at the cleanliness of the entire venue, the accessibility and functionality of all listed amenities, and the friendliness of the staff! We agree we would definitely stay here again! My only two complaints are the breakfast (having to sit down in the adjoining restaurant and wait on one employee to come take everyones order, instead of a buffet) and the TVs not having a guide channel.

Miranda Kelley at this hotel is absolutely out of this world AWSOME! She went WAY out of her way to help us out delivering something I had left in my room to our son nearby (his car wasn’t w/him). Oh AND she wouldn’t let me have her Venmo or Cash App to compensate her!!! PLEASE give her a raise! She deserves it completely! What a blessing she is!!
