We arrived around 9:00 PM on Saturday evening and found no one at the front desk, despite lots of guests hanging around the lobby area. After waiting a few minutes, another guest notified the bartender across the room that customers were waiting to check in. His response was, “They can wait, they don’t tip me on that side.” A few minutes later, the bartender, Rain, came over to handle check-in. He rushed through the process without any greeting and explained that he was the only employee on duty that evening. It created a very poor first impression of the property and felt unprofessional for a Hyatt-branded hotel. The TV in our room was not working, though the room itself was otherwise adequate and clean. Breakfast was the standard Hyatt Place offering. The location is convenient for driving to many nearby attractions and restaurants, but there is not much within comfortable walking distance.

The room was very nice but the tv didn't work and there was zero hot water. No matter how long I ran the tap on the sink or the shower we got only cold. The bedding was clean but still had a residual body odor smell, Im assuming they use little to no detergent to clean. The lobby and hall ways are extremely hot. The AC was broken we were told. Thankfullythe AC in our room functioned well. The breakfast was decent, we appreciated the variety of options. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I wanted to give this place 5 stars but with the lack of hot water, smelly pillows/sheets, broken tv and overbearing heat in the building it wasn't possible. Overall it's a good place if you need a room for the night.

Room was disgusting. The carpet was wet from the AC. The whole carpet felt sticky, and bathroom was moldy. Could not lock the restroom door. The box spring of the mattress was gray/black. The sofa bed was very bad when you lay, you fell right in. The TV was not programmed at all. The staff was very nice and courteous. i would expect more for a HYATT hotel overall will not be staying again.

Staff was very helpful to get us into our room, even after a couple glitches in theor system. They escorted us to our room, pretty cool... Clean rooms but layout was a bit tight in some areas.

MANY LIVING/MOVING Cockroaches in room. per Front desk... "well, this is texas" They gave us a new room but didn't offer any refund for our troubles, we had a late night and an early morning too so there was little sleep. Location not too far from six flags/at&t/globe life. walkable to all under 30mins. would be helpful if they added microwaves to the rooms to heat leftovers that we kept in the fridge. we did eventually find some in the breakfast area. probably wouldn't recommend
