My recent stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Love Field was extremely disappointing and fell well below expectations. Prior to arrival, I requested early check-in, but it was not available. I was informed that the property was short-staffed and that guest rooms had not been cleaned and prepared on time. While I understand that staffing challenges can occur, this set the tone for a stay that was plagued by ongoing operational and maintenance issues. I do want to acknowledge that the front desk staff was consistently polite, professional, and apologetic throughout my stay. They made efforts to address the issues as they arose, but unfortunately the number and severity of the problems significantly impacted the overall guest experience. Upon checking in, the problems continued almost immediately. My room key would not work, even after being recoded three separate times. Compounding the issue, there was no in-house telephone service available, requiring repeated trips to the front desk to resolve problems. When I finally accessed my room, I discovered it was missing both a TV remote and an ironing board. As a result, I was transferred to another room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the second room was not functioning properly, forcing yet another room change. I was ultimately moved back to the original room, where staff provided a remote and ironing board and demonstrated how to "wiggle" the key card in order to gain entry. The condition of the bathroom was also disappointing. The shower/tub had visible stains, which raised concerns about cleanliness and upkeep. Additionally, the diverter lever used to switch water flow from the tub faucet to the shower head was broken and required manual manipulation to function properly, making what should have been a routine shower unnecessarily frustrating. Staff suggested that the key cards are easily deactivated by proximity to cell phones, credit cards, and even smart watches. However, none of these circumstances applied in my case. In fact, while riding the elevator, another guest asked whether we were also experiencing key card issues because she was having the same problem and was looking forward to checking out that day. This suggests the problem was not isolated. To make matters worse, I was not recognized as a Gold Member during my stay, despite my loyalty status. The compensation offered for these numerous inconveniences was less than a $50 discount, which I found wholly inadequate given the amount of time, frustration, and disruption caused throughout the stay. The complimentary breakfast was also underwhelming, consisting of tea, coffee, make-your-own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cold hard-boiled eggs, apple, cranberry and orange juices, three cold cereal options, plain yogurt cups, white and wheat bread, and a limited selection of condiments. Overall, the repeated room issues, malfunctioning key cards, lack of basic room amenities, maintenance deficiencies, cleanliness concerns, failure to recognize loyalty status, and insufficient compensation resulted in a very poor guest experience. While I appreciate the professionalism and apologetic attitude of the front desk staff, the property itself did not meet the standards I expected, and I cannot recommend this location based on my stay.

We had a wonderful stay and were genuinely impressed. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exceeded our expectations. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the breakfast was excellent, and having access to a gym was a great bonus. Free parking was also very convenient. We couldn’t find any shortcomings during our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to others.

This place deserves a negative rating. We called the number on the web page and the call center answered the phone. On the web site for one room with 2 queen was 110. We were charged full price for the room. The clerk told us that we never called snd we were lying. I just looked at him. Then he said it again. It was storming outside and I just could not drive anymore. So I took the room. The more I thought about it I got upset. Called the same number and was told sorry could not help me. Talked to customer relations could not help me. Told them I would give bad review and they said go ahead we don’t care. Really, so that’s why it should be a negative number. Not even a 1 star. They SUCK. Don’t stay here.

Wonderful customer service here. I flew in and missed the last shuttle of the day, which is no big deal, but the front desk lady kindly apologized and offered to refund me my Lyft ride. I refused her offer, but she still gave me a free water and a late check out. Bed and pillows were comfy. All staff interactions were so pleasant and inviting.

Do not stay here. Hallway smelled as soon as we came in. The shower water smelled and the drain would not even stay open to drain. The pool was closed and keycard would not work to get in it. The breakfast was ok, and the person I called on the phone for the hotel was rude. The only thing that was really good was the beds, as they were comfortable.
