Apollo Dental 2 months agoI stayed at Omni Dallas Hotel for a few nights and overall had a comfortable experience. The location is really convenient, especially if you plan to explore downtown Dallas or attend events nearby. It’s connected to the convention center, which made things easy for getting around. The room was clean and modern, with a nice view of the city. The bed was comfortable, and I didn’t have any issues sleeping. I also appreciated the little details like enough outlets and a decent workspace. The bathroom was spacious and well-maintained. Staff were generally polite and helpful, though there were a couple of times when service felt a bit slow, especially during busier hours. Nothing major, just something I noticed. I tried one of the hotel restaurants, and the food was good but a bit pricey for what you get. That said, it’s convenient if you don’t feel like going out. Overall, it’s a solid place to stay if you want something central and reliable. Not perfect, but it met my expectations and I’d consider staying there again.
Megan Gloetzner a month agoI've stayed at numerous 4-star properties across the US, so I feel confident saying this hotel falls closer to a 3-star experience. For nearly $1,000 for two night, I expected something memorable — and unfortunately, it wasn't. The room itself was fine, but unremarkable. What stood out more were the hallways and shared spaces, which felt dated and a bit worn — not the impression you'd expect at this price point. Nothing about the stay felt elevated or special in the way a premium rate should deliver. The bright spots were the café — the drinks were great and the staff there were genuinely warm and welcoming. And on my last day, the bartender in the lobby was absolutely wonderful. Those two touchpoints were the exception, not the rule. Overall, a forgettable experience at an unforgettable price. I'd encourage Omni to close the gap between what they're charging and what they're delivering. Staying there was very meh.
Anatole 2 months agoAfter reading the reviews and all the hype of this hotel, I decided to try out the Omni Dallas hotel and looked forward to treating myself to luxury over the spring break, unfortunately however this hotel was massively underwhelming and left much to be desired. I’ve stayed at a few other Omni properties and generally have enjoyed their offerings, it seems that since my past stays, Omni has lowered their bar in both customer service and overall quality. The property grounds were impressive at entry, and Kallen at the desk was professional and friendly, though he did not offer any waters like most Omni front desks do for Select Guest Insiders. This is unfortunately where the positive service ended. The room had a beautiful view, but seemed worn out and also was notably dark, the mattresses were pretty hard, and the towels almost looked ivory rather than white, one also had a long black hair on it. I also found the sheets to be rather low thread count for the price, and very similar to that of what I found at a Fairfield Inn I recently stayed at. While the food was okay at the Owner’s Box and Cafe Herrera, I cannot say the same for Texas Spice. The food at Texas Spice was very spicy for some reason, I understand wanting to fit a theme in your name, but that does not mean that a burger and fries or steak frites need to be spicy with no other notable flavors. A friend I had invited to dinner also had stomach pain and digestive issues throughout the night and following day. My most upsetting experience however was when a friend and I wanted dessert and decided to stop by, our server, Angel, when we asked about nut-free options, he told us to get dessert elsewhere. He did end up recommending something he stated was nut free and said the kitchen confirmed this, but when cutting in there were pecans in the Dr. pepper sheet cake, I am glad to have done so, otherwise I would have spent spring break in the ER. Breakfast was a positive however and Gorgio was a massive improvement, as was the buffet, but the younger lady operating the omlette station was completely disengaged and certainly did not want to be present that day. Overall I found this experience to be highly lacking and completely unacceptable for this price point, I’ve had far better experiences at other nearby luxury properties like the HALL Arts hotel and even the Marriott downtown, for far less I will add. With this experience, my overall opinion on Omni has lowered, and I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere and deleting my Select Guest account.
Belinda a month agoStaying at Omni Dallas Hotel was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel is luxurious, with a beautiful and spotless lobby, and we were warmly welcomed by the very friendly hotel staffs. What made our stay even more special was the restaurant staffs who made our mornings so enjoyable. My husband and I were very happy with the excellent service provided by Ms. Anjanette and Mr. Rick. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. Having breakfast and dining at the restaurant in Omni Dallas Hotel was such a pleasant experience. We would definitely love to come back again.
Courtney Hall a month agoMy best friend and I were visiting for Memorial Day weekend. We had an amazing time. The hotel was clean, beautiful, and full of an overwhelming amount of options to eat and drink. The staff were all lovely, and happy to help with any of our needs. A highlight to our weekend was the awesome view on the infinity pool deck. A shout out to the spectacular staff at the pool bar(Joshua, Emily, Jesus, Aleyda, and the awesome ladies running the grill)! They really made our Sunday! We can't wait to visit again soon.
