This was my second time visiting Dallas and I'm so glad I took a chance and booked a stay at this hotel. The theme and vibe were very unique and cozy and the hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool view was lovely and my room had the perfect night view of the Reunion tower. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Dallas.

My husband and I stayed for a week, so I have a few notes/feedback. Bottom line, if you need to book a quick stay, this hotel will do in a pinch. It’s in a decent location in relations to Dallas, though you should be warned—there are a lot of homeless nearby, especially on the roads around the hotel and leading into the city, as well as active construction going on right next to the main road leading into the hotel itself, so it’s all a bit hectic. Pros: Staff was nice. Our room was cleaned promptly every day. Hotel is fun looking, albeit quirky. Room was also quiet, but it faced the parking lot (and not the highway it’s next to). Cons: Bedding/towels were washed in cheap/scented detergent—for anyone with sensitive skin, you might want to call ahead to see if the hotel can accommodate you, as we never got the chance to ask, and were quite uncomfortable most of our stay. Parking is at $20 a night…which I find quite ridiculous, given how removed the hotel is from the city. If you need a long-term stay like we did, I don’t recommend this hotel, specifically for that reason. Hotels this far out from the main parts of the city should provide free parking for your stay. Overall, we likely will look to stay elsewhere when we come back to Dallas, but if you’re not picky and are staying for a day or two nearby, this hotel isn’t a horrible option.

Upon arrival the hotel was amazing! We got to our room and immediately noticed the beside lamps did not work. We notified the front desk the next morning and they were repaired within an hour, which is amazing; but they should have worked in the first place. The floors in our room felt sticky in general, carpet and vinyl laminate. The most unsettling was the food. The only place we ate during the second day of our trip was the hotel. My husband ended up very physically sick, and like stated above; the only place food was consumed from was the hotel the entire day from breakfast to dinner. On the other hand, the location is questionable due to construction & along with Fentanyl Zombies a few blocks down, so be careful taking a wrong turn. The only thing that assisted in feeling of safety in my opinion was the fence and concrete barriers throughout the parking lot but it did not appear that cameras were within the parking lot. I would give this hotel a higher rating but, food poisoning is unacceptable. Hotel atmosphere was amazing, location and food are questionable in my personal opinion. This is the WORST hotel experience I've ever had to this point specifically because of billing! This business is going to OVERDRAFT MY ACCOUNT THEY DON'T STOP RETURNING AND REMOVING FUNDS FROM MY ACCOUNT! Along with the fact that my husband got food poisoning from the hotel restaurants and we ended up cancelling the event we were supposed to attend in Dallas; ended up being a waste of time.

We recently stayed at The Lorenzo for a little family staycation and overall it was a really nice experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was clean, stylish, and comfortable. It definitely has a unique personality compared to many other hotels in the area. The staff we interacted with were nice, but the hospitality felt a little neutral. No issues at all — just not the warm welcome you sometimes expect when arriving at a hotel. One thing to note is the surrounding area. We walked around a bit and there isn’t a lot within walking distance, so I’d probably rate the neighborhood about a 3 out of 5 in terms of nearby things to do. However, Val’s Cheesecake is within walking distance and that was definitely a highlight for us. Parking at the hotel is $20 overnight. We ended up choosing street parking instead, which we were a little unsure about at first, but thankfully everything was fine and nothing happened to our vehicle. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay, which we were hoping to enjoy, but aside from that everything else was great. Overall I would give The Lorenzo a 4.5 out of 5. The property is beautiful and it made for a fun and memorable staycation with my kids.

Don’t stay here if you want to use the pool or sleep. No place on their website does it state there is nonstop construction or pool parties that are not kid friendly. The construction is literally 3’ from the hotel and very, very loud. It started at 6 am and went to 7:30 pm. Could not sleep past 6 am and the noise is unbearably loud at the pool from the construction. And then at night they had a party with DJs at the pool which is neat if you are 20, not so cool for kids. Miserable stay and the staff just pointed to a sign on the desk that said it is not their fault there is construction. For what we paid, we should have know ahead of time that this was going on. It does not look like the construction is going to be done anytime in the near future. If you think I am exaggerating, look at the attached photo I took at 6:30 am from my 8th room floor.
