I had a cockroach in my bed while sleeping. This was both shocking and extremely unsettling, especially given the standards of cleanliness and comfort I expect when staying at a Marriott property. I immediately requested a room change, and while I did move to another room for the following two nights, I did not sleep well at all after the incident. Staff was accommodating but after writing to Marriott about my experience I was only given 5,000 points as a gesture of apology. I’m a Titanium elite member (stay over 75 nights in Marriott’s) and felt disrespected.

This stay was a last minute thing. I was just too tired to make the hundred mile drive home after a long and wonderful day at the Ft Worth Zoo. I made the right choice! The room was great, the staff were welcoming and very helpful, and the pool was a perfect end to a splendid day...and a great beginning to the next.

I left a personal item behind and called the hotel the day after my stay. I spoke with the general manager, Michelle, who confirmed they had the item and asked me to generate a shipping label and email it to her. On November 18th, she emailed me stating, “I packaged your blanket and it was picked up by FedEx. Please check online with your tracking number.” After a full week with no delivery updates, I emailed Michelle again asking for a status update but received no response. I then contacted the Marriott Platinum Reservations hotline and spoke with Tiffany. I explained the situation, and she reached out to the hotel on my behalf. To my surprise, Tiffany informed me that the hotel still had the package and that I would need to submit a request for FedEx to pick it up. If that was the case, I don’t understand why Michelle told me the item had already been shipped on November 18th. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by the hotel. However, I am very pleased with the assistance Tiffany offered, as she was helpful and proactive.

This hotel is in the district university therefore OVERPRICED! Not to mention WORST hotel stay! Walked in to a dirty room with someone in it. Overpriced, small rooms, never received housekeeping as the group planner requested, and to top it off, SNOTTY front desk service which is diabolical for minimum wage! The front desk will need to take on a customer service training course ON THE GROUP! Never again!!

Staff was polite, great area. They charged me $12 to park in an empty parking lot. Frustrated when places squeeze every penny out of you. It just can’t be the price of the hotel
