I arrived to the hotel and everything seems good till i got to the room and was given city view after paying for ocean view. The room i chose was much bigger than the crammed together trippable space given. I decided i would just deal with it since i arrived late and was exhausted. I slept only 2 hours before being blaired awake by false alarm fire alarms. Deciding breakfast might help my irritation, that was crap as well. The flavor and texture of the food couldnt even be doctored by salt pepper or anything else so i went without breakfast my whole stay. Getting attitude at the front desk for my valet service was uncalled for. The only part of hyatt place that i appreciate being quick and convenient are the employees driving in the valet service. I chose to spend most of my time outside of the hotel due to disappointment. Thought the high rating and great reviews would stand true... i was wrong. Waste of money considering i could have paid much less and got way better experience at a lower rated hotel. I took my leave as early as i could.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Hyatt Place Oceanfront Virginia Beach was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect—from the clean, comfortable room to the outstanding customer service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. A special shoutout to the valet team—they are hands down the best valet team ever! They were welcoming, efficient, and made every arrival and departure seamless. It’s rare to find a hotel where every aspect of the experience exceeds expectations, but Hyatt Place Oceanfront did just that. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!

This hotel was a nice stay. Valet made parking simple for us. Hotel staff was kind and patient, with an exception of one or two, not a big deal. They let us have an early check in if we switched room type. Breakfast stood out to us, Tana, the breakfast manager was amazing. She kept a clean space and offered great food. There’s many options and it was something different daily. The hotel is in a quiet part of the beach, not touristy. Housekeeping did a good job, our room was clean upon check in and they tidy up for you daily, if requested. We also thought $15 for parking per night, and $30 per night incidental was reasonable. There was a housekeeper who walked in without knocking, then slammed the door shut with my sleeping infant in the room, not a crazy big deal to us, but could be to someone else. It’s a bit of a walk if you want to go to the bigger/better shops. We don’t have any complaints. We would recommend this stay on the oceanfront.

Decided to do a quick getaway for Spring Break and drove about 4 hours to Virginia Beach, and it was absolutely worth it. I’ve been wanting to stay oceanfront for a long time at VA beach ( through not comparable to Jamaica 🤗) and booking with Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Oceanfront truly delivered that experience without the hassle of flying. From check-in on Sunday, March 29, everything was seamless. The front desk associate was incredibly welcoming, checked us in quickly, and placed us on the 12th floor with a beautiful oceanfront view. The facility was clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff consistently went above and beyond. A special shoutout to Samantha at the front desk, who we saw daily, she was always warm and accommodating. Susan was amazing as well. The entire team, including valet, made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The only downside was the breakfast, it was quite bland with limited options. Other than that, everything exceeded expectations. I even tried to extend my stay by an extra night, but unfortunately, they were fully booked which says a lot. The best shower ever with an amazing water pressure! Overall, I truly loved my stay and can’t wait to come back again.

Valencia from the cleaning service was exceptional during my stay. She was very friendly, professional, and always made sure everything was perfect. What stood out the most was how she approached me personally to ask if I needed anything, which showed genuine care and excellent customer service. My room was always spotless and well organized. Valencia’s kindness and attention to detail truly made my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for the outstanding service!
