We were satisfied with the room, it was very clean but we wished there was a little more counter space in the bathroom. The pillows weren't very comfortable, we had to request extras and they looked at us like we were aliens when we did so. The biggest plus for us was how dog friendly the hotel is, the courtyard/dog area is completely fenced-in and private and a total game changer in a downtown hotel. Our golden retriever also got to play with the two concierge dogs, Millie & Sadie, in the courtyard and that was so fun. Their owner was the nicest as well. The hotel itself is very classy & well decorated. The parking was a bit more expensive than we would have preferred but being attached to the hotel was convenient. I didn't take advantage of the Starbucks in the lobby but that was a great amenity. We will definitely be back if we are back to the city, and more hotels should have dogs!

We choose this location to be able to attend a couple of events that were within walking distance. The stay was amazing. The check in was great. The room was comfortable. Even with most of the hotel being filled with volleyball teams, the stay was quiet. My son was impressed with how glamorous everything was. He also enjoyed the wall that contained all the history of the place. Overall, I would be happy to stay here again if I have events in downtown Milwaukee.

I stay at this place every year for a chorus competition. It is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous chandeliers and architecture. The rooms are always super clean and relatively spacious for a double room. The water pressure in the shower is pretty good for a busy hotel. The front desk is very attentive. The hotel dogs Millie and Sadie are adorable and friendly. The bellhop Channing was super helpful getting our luggage to the parking garage and loading into our car. I look forward to coming here every year.

Had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Restaurant staff were phenomenal. My only complaint was for the gentleman standing at the podium at night. He was very rude and racist towards my friend and I. After our meal, we decided to take photos in the lobby area, we had a great conversation upstairs with the young gentleman who works front desk at night. I even purchased a soda from him. The moment we got back down stairs, into the lobby. We were waiting for our rides, still briefly looking around. The man who stands at the podium at night told us that if we were not going to have a seat we could leave the premise. I was so confused & puzzled at his remark, while my friend became frustrated. He continued to tell us to have a seat or we could leave. At that moment I felt as if we were being stereotyped. Based off our looks and appearance. We sit, he continues to stand at the podium. Moments later, a man and woman come downstairs. Waiting for a ride, standing. He acknowledges them but says nothing to them about having to take a seat. A few more people come into the lobby, standing he says nothing. I don’t know if he’s having a bad day, or just does not like people. I felt so awkward and uncomfortable the entire time, sitting, waiting for my uber. He just made the end of our night there, terrible.

Room service longer than 1 hour for kids breakfast pancakes. Eating in Cafe, short on staff. Asked multiple times for coffee. Never received toast with my meal (included). No syrup with French toast and oatmeal was watery. Update: Contacted by management and they comped breakfast so I raised 1 star on service. (Was 2 star) Communication is key. A) Room service is about one hour sir, is that ok..... B) Parking is available attached to the building at $40.00 per day.... Might of helped make a decision on whether to come back or not.
