My first ever one star review. I found the overall function and cleanliness of the hotel very poor. Strong, weird smells on the third floor that would seep I to the rooms. Lots of visible debris, including sticky stuff in the main walkable carpet area. The main table surfaces and Bathroom was pretty clean, though. One of my towels smelled weird. I drifted off for a moment with the light on and when I woke up I thought I saw a bug scuttle away from me on the bed. Assuming I was just seeing things that weren't there, I went to double check other reviews. I saw like 7 reviews that mentioned bed bugs including one with pictures! To be fair I didn't get any bites, but I'm not sleeping in a bed with any bugs. Talked to the front desk about a refund, since I had only had the room for and hour or two, but they said I needed a picture to get a refund. I strongly recommend you pay the extra 20$ to stay at one of the nicer places on this street

All airport shuttles are not created equal! Can I just tell you, for someone that travels a lot and relies on shuttles to and from the airport, hands down no matter what class of service a hotel is in all the way up to five star, I never have had better service than I did this morning!. I got there late and I told Sam at the front desk that I needed to leave for a very early flight. He wrote it down and asked if I wanted a wake up call, I declined. So I came to the lobby at 4:45 a.m. he was there he had a breakfast bag for me to go! And then he took me directly to the airport. No fiddling no fussing. You see lately I Have Become disenchanted with properties that claim to have airport shuttle service, because many times it's little more than a courtesy van, something that operates so inconsistently and at the least convenient times. So it was very refreshing to have the Super 8 at the Milwaukee Airport take care of me as they did. I am overly impressed and cannot tell the management and the travel sites how exceptional it was. Sam was a rockstar in my mind. He went over and above.

The good thing about Super 8 is its location. The location is conveniently located across the street from the airport, so if you're catching a flight, it 's nice. There are a lot of restaurants located very close, so there is a wide variety of options when dining out, however, there were a couple of drawbacks. It lists online that there was a hot tub/pool, but that may be an Expedia oversight. The website states that they offer a "light breakfast"...the continental breakfast area was completely closed down, so they offered nothing at all, which probably should have been reflected in the price. The last thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was the customer service, meaning there was none at all. I called the front desk in the morning to request a later check-out. The front desk clerk told me he would extend it to 12:00 PM, no charge. At 11:15 AM, a man who looked to be either a manager or an owner tried entering my room. I had the chain on, so he wasn't able to get in the room. He banged on the door, loud! I answered the door, and he said, "Were you sleeping?" I told him no and let him know I called down early, and my checkout was extended to 12:00. He said, "11:30." I was polite and reiterated I was told 12:00, but he was again rude and repeated the 11:30 time frame, which personally, I have never heard of, so I had 15 minutes to gather my things and leave. If anyone stays here, great location, but bring some foood items with for meals, because they do offer a microwave and refrigerater in the rooms. Hope this helps give clarity for people that are looking for a place to stay and also a heads up to owners on how to make guests feel while spending our money in their establishment.

Solid economy hotel, very affordable nightly rates. Only about five minutes from the airport and they do offer a shuttle. Front desk staff made check-in quick and easy. Room was clean and spacious. No frills, but most importantly, no thrills. Check in, take a hot shower, DoorDash some dinner, try to get eight hours of sleep, and catch that early morning flight.

The king size bedroom was nice and spacious. The soda vending machine took my quarters though. The front desk was very accommodating. We stayed 6 nights. Not bad would come again.
