We had an amazing stay at Tru by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown! Even with the hotel being completely full for the New Balance Windy City Classic basketball tournament, the staff handled everything so well. They accommodated our early arrival, our room was super clean, and housekeeping kept us fully stocked every day. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and had plenty of options. The front desk team was always friendly and helpful; giving great recommendations and even allowing us a late checkout, which made a huge difference for our schedule. But I have to give a very special shoutout to Andrew and Jay. They were absolutely AMAZING. Their customer service was top-tier, and they made us feel so welcomed and taken care of the entire time. They are a huge reason why our stay was so memorable. As a first-time visit to Milwaukee, this stay exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Don't go here unless you plan to not have a rental or personal vehicle. There is not hotel parking only valet. The 4 day charge of 176 for parking is a little absurd. Never had an issue of this kind with any of the Hilton associated hotels. Not to mention you got to wait 5 to 10 min while someone got your vehicle. Rooms were average as location slightly a pain to get to as it on the end of a one way loop. If you have a hard time sleeping with street noise this hotel is not for you. Its loud at all hpurs

Road construction in front of the hotel and being on a Main street made it a miserable stay. Their rooms were clean and typical hotel style and there was nothing special about the breakfast or anything else. The outside fire pit did not work and convenience store had nothing to offer of interest. Being located to a busy street, made it hard to sleep, especially when the motorcycles kept driving by. It is a great location for being close to some great food. Doing Marriott next time in Milwaukee.

Rooms quite small and lack of carpeting on floor makes every noise from above distinguishable and very loud at times. Staff was EXCELLENT, including Jasmin, Jay, Martin and Greg (valet). Convenience items very expensive. Based on everything, most importantly the wonderful customer service, I'd absolutely stay again without hesitation. But I would ask for top floor room due to overhead noise.

Perfect location but at a price $$. The overall hotel and amenities are just fine and the staff is friendly. There's two separate breakfast areas which gives you a lot of choice and variety. The beds are not comfortable and housekeeping definitely is sub par to say the least because the rooms aren't very clean, the AC sucks too wall says 68° but the room is sweating hot. Definitely be very careful with the parking I suggest doing your own thing down the street.
