HeatherA Simonsen 3 weeks agoCandice and Brent started our check-in process seamlessly and had us moving into our preferred habits very quickly. Candice was able to navigate me to nearby food, to which we opted to eat in at the Pied-Piper. The food was fresh, fast, and hot. The drinks were cold and refreshing. The service in the restaurant was phenomenal, our bartender was lovely and punctual, making recommendations and offering suggestions. Candice provided me with additional assistance in locating the gym, which was minimal but with the basics, very clean and stocked with plenty of water, and sweat towels (also very clean). Afterwards, my quisical self needed more assistance, and again, Candice was happy to help. Her suggestions, knowledge, and cheerfulness was refreshing being away from home. Later in the evening, Aubrey was helpful in providing us with water and safety tips for the downtown Phoenix nightlife. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, fresh, and made to order as well. The coffee was hot and our sever was delightful. Our fourth floor attendant was keeping everything fresh and clean, and was very cheerful and helpful. To end our short stay, we were greeted by Maggie at the front desk, who was ready to offer help and assistance during our check-out. Overall our stay was comfortable, quiet, clean, and enjoyable. The reason I did not give 5 stars is the toilet-paper. Very painful and I would say, inconsiderate considering the other great things this hotel and staff offer, I suggest bringing your own roll or getting some from the dollar store down the street. Excellent service, great food, wonderful location, comforting pool and spa, and amazing staff who bring the best atmosphere and cleanliness. Please, Best Western, support this location in being top-notch with the slight increase of investment of quality toilet paper, the violation of my bum is the most unforgettable experience of this stay.
Bryanna Wilcox 2 months agoI am very pleased with this place ! The gym had what I needed to get my work out in. The pool area was so great !! Loved the pool and hot tub The Colours and cabanas made it look so much nicer. It was nice and quiet. The staff were all so great and friendly! The only thing that needs to be updated is the sinks in the bathroom for better water flow Other than that I would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back
Joey Benaron 8 months agoThis hotel is very basic but kind of run down. It was clean and seemed safe. The location was convenient. The room was a good size and clean but the remote for the AC and tv did not work. My evening check is was pleasant, the desk person was nice and helpful. The next morning when I told the desk that my AC remote and TV remote did not work, she barely acknowledged me and certainly did not smile, however both were working when I returned later. The free breakfast is kind of a joke. If you are looking for a budget hotel with no frills, this is the place. I am surprised that it got 4 stars but I am giving it 3 stars.
Scott Catron 4 months agoIf you are looking for a fresh, eclectic spot, this is it. The property is super clean, super cute, and filled with bright, vibrant colors—a true oasis in the desert. What really sets this place apart, though, is the great community. Even the other guests were amazing; it’s the kind of place where you actually want to sit around the bar or the pool and just enjoy the vibe. A special thanks goes to Jade the bartender, who made it not just a getaway for us, but a place where we felt truly at home. Sad I'll NEVER see you again. 😂 (Like ships passing in the night, or... Like being an airport bartender.) Pro-tip: Don't skip the food! If they offer you the breakfast, get it—it is well worth it. Between the spa, the pool, and the service, it is just a great facility and a great place to be. We will definitely stay here again!
ANNETTE OMOZORE a month agoOur rooms was not cleaned in two days, I had to let the cleaning lady know. The hotel charges extra for spa fee which is a total rip off. I must say the kitchen and bar staff was very pleasant.
