Fantastic Hampton Inn! We were greeted by the most welcoming front office staff. They made sure our check in process with smooth and simple. The property is very clean and well taken care of and right in the middle of downtown. Great location for walking. Breakfast was well organized and good options. Seems like they have made a lot of changes in the last year as most the negative reviews are older, don’t let that steer you from this hotel. We had a great stay!

This was a wonderful hotel! It was not only close by 2 the Linda Ronstadt music hall to see my show, but the 2 gals at the front desk were so helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with a beautiful area to eat. It's location also had a beautiful view of the St. Augustine Cathedral and mountains in the background with cascading cacti. Thank you, Hampton Inn!

Really nice modern rooms. Huge TV. Electronic shades. I dont like the barn bathroom doors. Breakfast was plentiful. I wish check in was earlier. Employees very friendly. Great location. Able to take the lightrail right to the university. Would definitely stay again.

Overall a good stay. The room was comfortable, the staff was helpful, and everything worked as expected. That said, the bathrooms could definitely use a renovation—they feel a bit outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. Also, the parking charges were disappointing and something to keep in mind. Still, a solid option with a few areas for improvement.

I’d give housekeeping 5 stars and the rest 3. We stayed from a Sunday to Friday. 3 adults-1 a Vietnam Veteran the 2nd a Desert Storm Veteran- no discount- for one king bed with a pull out full size (said Queen but I promise it wasn’t) it cost us $1,600 for the week. Supposedly going to get some refunded back??? I will say it was nice to have a medium size fridge, microwave and dishwasher. However, housekeeping only comes every other day- ours was great though because every time we went out they were kind enough to ask us if we needed anything- so anyways kept running out of hand soap, coffee, towels, wash rags, toilet paper and had to ask them to keep mopping because the floors stayed sticky and scuffed. I was expecting a nice big tub instead there was a plastic basin kind of cheap shower. For the price I expected a much larger pool but it was basic. Place was super clean; lobby smelled amazing but no smell to room. My father is 80 and there were quite a lot of locations that could have used handicapped items like grab bars down the hall or a fold down seat in the shower. Breakfast was ok every day but nothing spectacular. Overall it was ok but for the price? Overrated big time. Oh and front desk staff? R U D E! Every last one of them! Not coming back to this hotel again.
