I called on Friday 12 June and requested a microwave for my room. When I checked in, the microwave was not there. I called the front desk twice (a little over an hour between calls) and one of the front desk agents came with the microwave. During that time, there was a Pride event taking place. The hotel was decorated nicely, the DJ had amazing music playing and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. It is nice to see local businesses supporting the LGTBQ+ community. Kudos to Tuxon by Voco for stepping up with the support of the LGTBQ+ community.

----The Good Interior aesthetic was economic, but not stereotypical. Solid decor. Love the bar & pool area. Cleanliness, best I've seen since I was in Japan. Freeway noise, not an issue (surprisingly) Party vibe was absolutely a vibe. If you are down to chill, great spot. ----The Bad / needs a minor tweak Sleeping in the daytime is virtually impossible if you have one of the interior doors facing the pool if there is a party or DJ. If this is you, definitely request a room on the outside edge Parking, especially at night time is a little bit tough. You won't necessarily have to leave the property or anything crazy, but you might have to park somewhere and walk around a little bit. Nothing more than 100 m though The lgbtqia+ decor was a bit much & literally everywhere. I actually had to ask chatgpt if this specifically was a g-hotel just in case I was out of touch. I am a hint sensitive to consistent, annoying sounds such as tapping. In the room I was staying in, there was a consistent frayed connection or transistor jumping type electrical sound coming from either a device or the wall itself through the night. It turned off by morning ----The ugly This isn't necessarily the fault of the management staff, or anything they can help at this point, but the wall thickness is similar to a sheet of wax paper. You can consistently hear the TV or relational activities of your neighbors, day or night. You can hear the freeway but it's a very light noise and if the air conditioning is turned on, it is immediately drowned out. Although I absolutely am a party type, my wife is not and she was not a fan of the drunk clubgoers arriving between 1:00 and 5:00, arguing in the parking lot, slamming doors and pretty much having no regard for anyone around them. I think a roaming security could've prevented this.

This is definitely the place you want to stay when visiting Tucson. Not only is a beautiful place, comfortable, clean, and great value in price. The location is the best. Right outside the downtown area, just a 10 min drive which locates you right there if you want to enjoy downtown but also away enough of being in downtown busyness. Rooms are nicely kept and very comfortable beds. No microwave tho, but thats not a deal breaker for me. I will definitely come back.

The Tuxon has so much character and a noatalgic, artsy vibe that's rare but so refreshing. We couldn't believe the attention to detail in the decor, landscaping, murals, and how elegant the bar/lounge and pool area are. The staff was also surprisingly friendly. From the shell of an old-school style motel they created a really fun and nostalgic experience. The rooms are completely redone, and the public spaces really uplift the experience. They're nicer than many more expensive hotels offer. We loved the vegetation and even discovered a small cactus garden/private outdoor walking area adjacent to the parking lot. As tourists, we had no idea how prime the Tuxon's location is until we realized that many of the cool spots our local Tucson friends took us to were within a 1 to 5 minute drive of our hotel. The Tucson Gem & Mineral show is walking distance, as is the Chuck Huckelberry Loop/greenbelt that runs throughout Tucson and is so nice for walking or biking. "A" Mountain (with panoramic views of the city) is minutes west, as is the MSA Annex--a really cool cluster of eclectic restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shops built out of shipping containers. And Downtown and Historic 4th are also just north. Through Tucson is fairly sprawling, I-10 makes everything quickly accessible. Keep up the excellent work!

Amazing stay It's hard to imagine that years ago this was a motel 6 My wife and I spent 3 and a half months in the road across America and had a lot of bad bad motel stays. In fact we are still fighting a few of the motels past Anyways this place was Amazing in every way. The only down side at all wa that the pool was closed for maintenance But we soon got super comfy in our room and couldn't of cared less We will deff be back Wow
