Cyril 2 weeks agoDecent stay overall. The thing that stood out most to me was the staff: really friendly and on top of things. I had a clogged toilet and they fixed it fast, no hassle, didn't have to chase anyone. And a big one for me: free parking. In LA that's almost a miracle, so it's worth mentioning. That said, don't expect anything fancy. Prices are okay but nothing special, and you can kind of tell why once you're inside. It's a bit dated, the furniture's worn, and I noticed some stains on the fridge door and on the carpet. The AC also bugged me a little: it's either blasting or off, no way to get something gentle and steady. And the towels, yeah, they don't really dry you off. So, a solid enough hotel that does the job. Nothing amazing, but good location in Koreatown and the service is great. If you just need a practical place to crash without getting hammered on parking, it'11 do the trick.
Z P 3 months agoThis is a nice centrally-located hotel (close to downtown and Hollywood, and pretty easy access to the beaches). Front desk service was fantastic - everyone I met was really friendly. I felt like the hotel was a great value, especially since parking was free (and the garage is good quality). Aside from parking and a sparsely-decorated central courtyard, the only other amenity I'm aware of is the gym, which was really nice and much bigger than I expected. The room was nice and had a fridge (no microwave), AC, a comfortable bed, and TV (which was a bit dated). Housekeeping was great, and I saw a security guard walking around. The neighborhood felt safe and had a lot of great restaurants in it. The only negatives were that my room cards didn't work at one point, and I could really hear people walking on the floor above mine - but aside from that, had no issues with noise, even from outside.
Jun Wang 7 months agoTL;DR: Terrible stay during our Thanksgiving trip. Dirty bedsheets in both rooms 504 and 507, plus a roach in 504. We had to leave close to midnight for a clean hotel. The manager on duty refused any compensation, then ghosted us during my second call. We eventually had to get Expedia involved to secure a partial refund. Full Story: We stayed at this hotel for our Thanksgiving trip, and the experience was awful. In room 504, even after staff changed the sheets 2–3 times, there were still long hairs in the bedsheets. The other night, we saw a roach running in the bathroom that quickly escaped under the sink. The front desk moved us to room 507, but that room also had hairs on the bedsheets. Close to midnight, we had no choice but to leave and find a clean hotel. What made it worse was the manager’s response. When I contacted the manager, William, he refused to offer any compensation for the nights we had already stayed and even said something like, “We don’t know if what you saw was a roach. There’s nothing I can do.” When I called a second time to discuss the issue further, he ghosted us—put me on hold for 15 minutes and never came back. I hung up and asked my husband to call; he picked up immediately. In the end, I had to ask Expedia for help (luckily I booked through them), and they finally got the hotel to partially refund one of the two nights. Overall, the hygiene, service, and management were terrible and ruined our holiday.
Allan M a month agoThe manager made a big fuss about using the gym during normal hours because causing too much noise just from using the treadmill. I first told him I wasn't even using the weight and he accused of doing so and dropping weights too loud. Then he left and few minutes later, got another person to come down and accuse of same thing. First, was just using the treadmill, also, they build the gym next to other rooms, it's their own fault. Pretty rude service all around.
JADG 6 months agoI had a great stay at Aventura Hotel. The location on Fedora St is very convenient, especially for getting around Los Angeles. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-maintained, and everything felt comfortable and safe. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even better. Parking was easy, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value and a smooth, hassle-free stay. I would definitely recommend Aventura Hotel to anyone visiting LA and would happily stay here again.
