I absolutely loved my stay! Brandon was beyond knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful and honestly, the entire staff was just as amazing. The hotel’s ambiance and overall layout are stunning everything feels thoughtfully designed and elevated. The rooms were spotless, and I especially loved the iPad feature it made everything so convenient. I also appreciated that the hotel is cashless, which made transactions quick and seamless. The food was great, and breakfast was definitely a highlight for me. One thing that really stood out was how secure I felt. You can’t just access the elevators unless you’re a guest, which gave me extra peace of mind. Anytime I needed anything, the staff was just a call away and always ready to help. Everything and everyone truly exceeded my expectations. Whenever I travel to LA, this will definitely be my go-to stay. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Small rooms but very comfortable. Great common areas to work and chill. Good breakfast. Fantastic coffee. Staff is super friendly. The location I didn’t love but it’s not the hotel’s fault. I found downtown Los Angeles a bit run down. The rest of the city was much nicer.

I was very happy with my stay at citizenM Los Angeles Downtown. The hotel is trendy, modern, and very tech-focused, with easy self check-in, friendly staff, and smart, well-designed rooms. The rooms are compact and have a bit of a capsule-hotel feel, which I personally enjoyed. Breakfast is available for an extra charge and was solid. Just keep in mind that this is not a traditional hotel with concierge or valet service—it’s more of a self-service experience. If that’s what you’re looking for, it may not be the best fit. But if you enjoy technology and a modern hotel concept, I definitely recommend it.

One of the most interesting places I have stayed at. While the room itself is small, it is quite enough for a solo traveler or for a family of two. The room itself is very tech-heavy and you can manage all elements of the room using the console. The rooms are very well-lit with lots of natural light streaming in. What I really liked about this place was the common lobby. The place has great vibes and you can spend hours just idling at the lobby. Their staff is very kind and welcoming and will try their best to accommodate any request you may have. PS: While the location is great and smack-dab in LA downtown, however, since it LA downtown, do exercise some caution while you are out and about in the surrounding areas (the homelessness in LA downtown is no joke).

Incredibly tiny room. Truly, more like a shoebox. I think some single, young people will like it. If you are a couple or are older, it’s not for you. The bed is flush with the wall on 3 sides; if your partner needs to go to the bathroom during the night, they must climb over you. There is absolutely no space on which to place stuff such as luggage, backpack, toiletries, etc., except one small bench. The sink is tiny. The bathroom is surrounded by translucent plastic or something, basically in the middle of the room, so if you need to defecate hopefully you don’t mind essentially a total lack of privacy. The television is placed on the wall at the foot of the bed, since there is no place to sit and watch it. There is one small chair and a tiny desk perhaps 12 inches in depth. There are electric outlets above the desk, near one side of the bed, but no outlets or table on the other side. No coffee or cups in the room. There is a tiny refrigerator in the room, the smallest refrigerator I have ever seen. I had no problem with the staff or cleanliness of the facility. For this I paid $220 per night including fees.
