A hotel very true to the vibes of the Autograph Collection. This is perfect execution of a boutique hotel with character and modern comforts. On the boring, but noteworthy side for those that travel, the water pressure in the shower was amazing! Also noteworthy for a smaller hotel, the gym was decently outfitted. On Sundays, there’s a DJ at the rooftop pool and the scene is lovely. Weekdays, wine and bubbles are poured in the beautiful lobby area. When coming to DTLA, I’d definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at Hotel Per La with friends and had a truly enjoyable experience. The hotel has a beautiful blend of historic charm and modern luxury, creating a very stylish and relaxing atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The lobby design, lighting, and overall aesthetic felt very premium and welcoming. Our stay included a comfortable room with great interior design, clean facilities, and a very cozy bed. The environment was quiet, which made it perfect for resting after a long day. The staff were professional, polite, and always ready to help with anything we needed during the stay. We also enjoyed the hotel amenities, including dining and lounge areas, which added to the overall experience. Everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully managed. Overall, Hotel Per La is a great choice if you’re looking for a luxury-style stay with a mix of comfort, design, and excellent service in the city.

I had an amazing experience at the Per La Hotel! The food at the restaurant was fantastic, the décor was beautiful, and the drinks at the coffee shop were great, especially the matcha latte and the granola yogurt parfait. The rooftop bar also had excellent drinks. All of the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they gave me great recommendations throughout my stay. The gym was also very well equipped, with a wide variety of equipments available. The room was beautifully decorated and felt very homey, with great shower pressure and a comfortable bed. 10/10

Stayed at Hotel Per La and the experience felt seamless from arrival to evening. Valet was exceptionally smooth—clearly marked curb, prompt greeting, and the attendant immediately understood my reservation, handled my bags, and explained the process efficiently. It set a strong first impression. Entering through the mirrored, light-lined hallway into the lobby, the atmosphere shifts to a refined, signature Marriott luxury feel. Check-in was quick and welcoming, and the added $18 credit was a nice touch. A highlight was the rooftop. Stepping off the elevator, the space immediately evokes a The White Lotus-style ambiance—elevated but relaxed. The cabana-style bar, indoor-outdoor lounge seating, and attentive bartender made it easy to settle in right away (even before making it to the room). The pool deck, with its private cabanas and thoughtfully arranged seating, is particularly well done—an ideal LA setting. The room itself (studio) was well-appointed, clean, and reasonably priced for the location—comfortable without excess. Location is a major advantage. Dining options are all within easy walking distance, and for those interested in nightlife or billiards, Seven Grand is right next door, offering a great whiskey selection along with pool tables—no need for additional transportation. Overall, a highly convenient and polished stay with strong design, excellent service, and standout rooftop amenities.

I loved this hotel and all the delicate detailing throughout the building, which used to hold a bank. The restaurant on site was delicious and the service was impeccable. The restroom downstairs is an old bank vault complete with safe deposit boxes. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was perfect. The views from the room were great and the views from the roof top bar and pool were even better. Downstairs there is a gym with shower areas and cool towels. The staff was very helpful and kind. They made several recommendations which were appreciated.
