We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms, as well as the shared bathrooms, were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Guests have access to a drinking water dispenser, which is a convenient added benefit. The location is also quite practical - about a 7-minute walk to the nearest metro station, making it easy to get around the city. Traveling to the airport by public transportation takes 1 to 1.5 hours. What stands out the most is the excellent value for money. This hotel is a great option for those who want to explore Los Angeles without spending a fortune on accommodation. A solid, budget-friendly choice for travelers.

Beware of this property here. I paid 100 dollar deposit which they told me I would get back in 3 to 5 business days. They stole my deposit and never informed me of any reasons why. They must’ve needed money or something that’s very sketchy. And the area of the hotel was under construction it was a sketchy area. I even stayed for a week. Please beware they will steal your deposit money. DO NOT STAY HERE they are scammers. Do not support any business that are scammers and aren’t operating in good business practices. Last time I checked hotel towels especially one do not cost no 100.00 dollars you all are scammers and shouldn't be in the hotel business. A hotel towel cost about 5 to 20 dollars those are Gucci towels. Its okay booking has informed me they will reimburse my stolen 100.00 dollars this week. My bank has also informed me they will correct this issue because booking and my bank said you all were in the wrong. Saying stain towel was necessary to take 100.00 dollars scammers thats an hotel expense not no damage. Scammers

Clean, no-frills and affordable place to stay in the Arts District of LA. However, you get what you pay for. Be aware there is no elevator in this 4-storey building, and no microwave in the rooms (there’s a microwave at the front desk you may ask to use). Parking lots nearby have lots of break-ins reported so we parked at the LA Times Square Parking Garage (located at 213 S. Spring St, where it’s $12 flat rate for secured overnight parking) which is a ~10 minute bus ride away, and that worked wonderfully for us. At this time of review, there is also heavy construction in front of the hotel which makes it extra dusty, noisy, and the entrance is obstructed. All that said, check in was straightforward and the room was clean. The shared bathroom was clean as well, and the showers have good water pressure.

We couldn't find the place by car so my wife dropped me off a couple of blocks away and I got directions from a guy sweeping his sidewalk. The entrance was on a side street that was closed for construction and the door was locked. I called the number on the sidewalk placard but got no answer, probably gone for lunch. The only parking in the area was 2 blocks away and $10 an hour, which is going to add up fast. While I was standing there trying to decide what to do, my wife called back and said to forget it. $350 down the drain.

Came into LA on the train. After reading a lot of reviews for cheap hotels/hostels nearby, I decided to pay (substantially) more for a single here. Late check in was easy. Can't speak to any dorm rooms, but the single was clean and very comfortable. Good "Art District" location with some restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Only there one night, so didn't check the kitchen/lounge. My only real complaint was with the bathroom. While it was clean, it was a little too clean in that whatever cleaner/air freshener they use is overwhelming, especially with seemingly no ventilation, which also made the bathroom uncomfortably steamy any time I went in. And the layout is bizarre: 1 toilet (in a giant stall), 3 sinks, and 2 showers directly in line with the door, so anyone coming in (or walking by) can see you. All in all though, decent California Cheap place to crash in LA.
