Tessa Heron 4 months agoI booked a reservation at lexmar late Friday night, feb 12, w 2026 , as my fiancé and I needed somewhere to spend a few nights after a grueling couple of weeks traveling and making a huge hour-of-state move. As with any major life event, plenty of things come up, and it is more uncommon than not for plans to not go as perfectly or even close to it as you would hope or expect.. This was never more obvious than when we had a bit of car trouble and we’re unable to make our reservation at the lexmar Several hours after booking it late night we were supposed to sta. This place was the exact reason and definition of why it never our plan to stay at any hotels at all given that Airbnb’s in the Los Angeles area are much cheaper, especially when you have to plan to stay in the same location for more than just a couple days while you are simultaneously signing all of the paperwork and agreements That go along with putting money down on your first home. Anyway, as I mentioned previously, I had already booked my reservation late in the evening on February 11, however, we actually were unable to arrive until about 9 AM on February 12, thus missing it completely. Upon walking into the office, I wasn’t necessarily hoping to get my money back for the no show stay, however, I was expecting that the room would still be available seeing how it was booked so late the night before, and I was able to arrive so early in the morning the Holliday before checkout. Much to my surprise, however I was “greeted“ by a smug, looking older woman who had Power Trip written all over her face before she even began speaking in her clearly heavy Hispanic accent. I was informed that the room that I had booked had Already been booked twice – once being the booking that I initiated, and the second clearly being a booking that the hotel front desk employee Clearly made upon a power trip, With a “sucks to be you “look on her face as she told me that I would have to wait another three hours before another room was ready and any of the guests from the night before had checked out. It was 10 AM at the time that I spoke to this employee and she reassured me once again that there was nothing she would be able to do for me until “another room was ready,” As if the one that I hadn’t booked at nearly 1 AM the night before had been slept in and needed to be clean at all. Absolutely horrific, horrible customer service, and on my way out the door she even said something along the lines of “welcome to LA. I hope you enjoy your stay, Or I at least hope it starts to get better from here” While clearly trying to attempt to hide the giggling from behind her face and heavy accent that was clearly far from American. If I could give them less than one star, I certainly would, as they not only lied, but this hotel employee at the front desk could see I was clearly exhausted from my trip and overall move and could not have taken any greater pleasure and just telling me “no, I cannot help you,” despite the fact that she refunded absolutely none of the money for my reservation due to my last minute car trouble and inability to show up for my reservation- in lieu of the several attempted calls I also I tried to make informing the hotel management that i apologized, but we would be unable to make it. Sadly, this hotel is central to downtown Los Angeles that I’m not sure how much business, if any, they will actually lose due to their terrible customer service and complete lack of empathy when it comes to how they treat their paying customers, but From my personal experience, I would avoid the Lexmar At any and all costs, if at all possible.
stevencarnegie 2 months agoWas a little skeptical at first, but the Customer Service was beautiful. You have to excuse the construction, that comes with the territory when you’re upgrading your property. Major respect to them for that. The rooms were Fabuloso \ Pine Sol clean and smell great😂😂! I had no issues in the are as I actually went out for my cardio walk as well as my walk back from the stadium. Overall, I enjoyed the say and will be back.
Joe Nilaver 4 months agoThe hotel met all my needs and was a good value for the price. The room was clean, comfortable and modern. Nice amenities like air conditioning and fridge/microwave. The staff was friendly and provided good service. The location is convenient and I didn't hear any traffic noise from the road. I would stay here again.
Dana Salameh 3 months agoWe stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were friendly and the location is pretty good. The wifi stopped working on the second day. Also, although we asked to clean our room, they did not. Also the towels were terrible btw, they’re the kind that don’t dry well. So overall I would say it’s a good choice for a night or two, but not more.
Edgar Jimenez 7 months agoit was a nice place to stay at the rate we paid. stayed for camp flog gnaw 2024, and really enjoyed the location and how comfortable the room was. came back hoping for an open room again but it’s understandably sold out! everyone staying for cfg 2025; you got lucky here. if the hotel staff is reading this; i’ll sleep in a closet if it’s available, i miss this spot.
