I somehow got a smoking room. Enough said ... The walls looked like they never been cleaned. The floors was dirty. Hair in the bed and shower. The shower walls in side the shower had something on them. The chain lock on the door wasn't there. The heater never really heated the room and there was moldy water in the coffee machine. Definitely not staying here again.

I am so disgusted in the lack of basic manners, the poor customer service(i believe from them owner) and all around such a terrible stay. The women at the front desk was so rude to us. They claim to offer free wifi, and our room never got an internet connection. She wouldn't even lift her head when we would walk into the office and ask for help. She will speak badly about guest in spanish and with held our deposit for deep cleaning the room (with our own towel) and then gave us 5 bucks and said " better take the 5 or it will be nothing." I would recommend not staying here. By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my entire life. I gave one star for the gentleman who was very kind and work the desk at nights.

The room was very spacious and comfortably fit myself and two other guests. While it was a bit smelly and not the cleanest, and parking was limited, the location is excellent. Breakfast was nothing special, but you get what you pay for. What truly stood out was the gentleman at check-in—he was amazing. He honestly warned me about the things I’ve mentioned above and even offered to show me the room before I committed. That kind of service made a big difference, and I really appreciated his honesty and kindness. -Lady with neck tats... kinda grumpy.

Rooms are clean and have great amenities. Service while staying there was nice. Location is close to the hospital, which is why I was there. The lady who reviews and answers survey feedback, however, gets zero stars and single handedly caused this to go from a 5 star rating to 3 stars. She took our question about the bill as a personal attack and refused to understand our question. Instead of resolving, she told us to call back and talk to someone else the following day.

If I can give anyone considering this hotel some advice, DO NOT STAY HERE. In the future I will spend a couple extra bucks or travel a little further, but I will never stay here. HANDS DOWN, the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I hope the lady with the black expedition owns it, because if she was an employee of mine I wouldn't have any business. I couldn't even tell you her name because she wouldn't even look up from the computer in the mornings when I would go down to grab a cup of coffee before I started my day. She would make up policies that would defy choice privilege point systems. Even if it's a franchise there still is corporate compliance and she does not seem to care about to it at all, nor does she care about the livelihood of any customer staying there or potentially returning. I could obviously go on and on about the horrendous stay I had at this Econo Lodge but I will end it here and just say, this is the worst hotel in Colorado Springs. Also the only reason I gave it one star was because I couldn't give it a negative star.
