Cons: - the beds are so incredibly soft, it killed my back. I ended up sleeping on the couch (which was very firm) because the bed was so soft - the location is not so great. There are other reviews mentioning not feeling safe, especially in the parking lot Pros: - staff is absolutely wonderful and their customer service is phenomenal - the remodel is gorgeous and our room was beautiful and very nice - the complimentary breakfast is EXCELLENT I only knocked off one star for the location because that’s not really something they can control. But everything within their control is definitely 5-star worthy

I had an absolutely fantastic stay here. The room was spotless, the staff were genuinely warm and helpful, and the price felt like a steal for the level of comfort and quality. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, easy, and exactly what I needed no stress, just a great experience. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed an amazing 3 day sleep-over at this HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS LOCATION. Tho I had the same issue about a tub upon arrival, I had NOT requested one the week before when I booked so - can understand that with few available, they could not accommodate me. They tried tho. Otherwise, everything else was perfect; and I am old - have used many HIE sites across many states - this hands down - was my best experience. -Food was excellent! The person who made and kept breakfast items filled - was SO pleasant, friendly, biggest of smiles and even helped me empty a too-full-coffee cup to put in a lot of cream. -Desk staff - always a friendly smile, willing to help with any request..extra towels, ornry TV problem, directions for different locations in Colorado Springs...perfect customer service! (C.S was my job for 40 years...I know the beast!) -Location was spotless, hands down. Nary a spot of dust in any corner I saw; bathroom, coffee counter in room, breakfast area, etc! -Towels were sparkly white, shower was not slimy (as R some places), etc! -Entry way with couch and several easy chairs was spotless and well chosen for color and comfot; surrounding tables - no matter what time of day - had perfectly arranged varying types of reading material. -Plenty of different height tables in breakfast area to accomodate any comfort level. -***Coffee and juice (and few fruits) were available 24/7 in breakfast area! Excellent for my several "out of normal hours" needs! -Parking lot more than adequate with many rolling carts available for luggage transport. So...many thanks for a most comfortable experience during my not-so-comfortable hospital event. Kudos to all staff; GM/AGM: Mr. Sokolove and Johnson: Jessica, Chrystal, Megan, DeAndre, Louise, April AND...if not mentioned above - the amazing young lady responsible for the super breakfast served...delicious, hot and plentiful! Had an absolutely amazing time the staff was great except for both managers. I just couldn’t believe what I was hearing. They are an absolute joke when all the employees are the managers kids there’s no responsibility taken at all. No correction given it’s just the guest is always wrong never been cheated like that anywhere it’s sad when their staff has to apologise for the way the managers act. Also a great place to bring your kids if you wanna show them the towns homeless people and drug addicts hanging out all over the place couldn’t really sleep was scared. My car was gonna get broken into and speaking management before they would’ve said there’s nothing to do about it. The management definitely ruined this for me and I will be telling people not to come here.

Very disappointed in my room, I booked a normal room with one bed and for some reason they put me in a handicapped accessible room with no bathtub. I specifically booked this particular hotel because there were photos of bathtubs on the website. When I asked to switch rooms I was told there were none available with a bathtub, which I find very doubtful because of how empty the lot was. I will not be staying here again which is too bad because the location is perfect and and the staff is nice.
