We stayed a total of seven nights across two reservations. Overall, the stay was okay, but there are definitely better options in Colorado Springs. Location The location is convenient for downtown, but the city parking garage directly across the street attracts a noticeable homeless presence. It didn’t feel unsafe, but it did take away from the experience. Food & Amenities Breakfast was fine—nothing special, not terrible, just average. The lobby staff, especially the two ladies working evenings, were consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful. They were a highlight of the stay. The hotel doesn’t have a full kitchen, but the food they do offer is surprisingly good. The parmesan fries were excellent and better than expected for a limited-service setup. Housekeeping (Major Issue) Housekeeping was by far the biggest disappointment. Rooms were not cleaned thoroughly, and service was inconsistent throughout the week. Communication was extremely difficult because the housekeeping staff did not speak English, which made even simple requests challenging. When we brought this up to the front desk, the response we received was essentially, “What do you want me to do? They don’t understand me either.” That was frustrating and not the level of service we expect from Hyatt. Rooms were often cleaned late, rushed, or not to standard. This was the most negative part of our stay. Overall An average stay with some bright spots—friendly front desk staff and decent food—but the housekeeping issues and the surrounding area make it hard to recommend. We’ve stayed at many Hyatt Place properties, and this one falls short. There are better-located and better-managed hotels in Colorado Springs.

Do not trust what they tell you over the phone. We needed a place to stay close to the hospital for emergency treatment/surgery, and because of the medical situation we specifically needed a first-floor room in case we had to call 911. We called ahead and were told over the phone that yes, they had a first floor. That was the ENTIRE reason we booked here. When we arrived, it turned out that wasn't true at all. They didn't have a first OR second floor of guest rooms, only a third floor. The person on the phone flat out lied to us, and it cost us time we didn't have during an active medical emergency. We had to scramble to find another last-minute hotel. To make it worse, they still charged our card even though we never stayed here. We're currently working to get the charge refunded. If accurate information matters for your stay, whether for medical reasons, accessibility, or anything else, do not rely on what this property tells you over the phone. Book somewhere else.

Disappointing stay. Rooms are remarkably noisy—you hear every door close on the floor, and conversations carry from inside rooms into the hallway. Several outlets didn’t work. Breakfast was poor quality and frequently out of items shortly after opening. Add mandatory valet parking and it’s not worth it. Book The Mining Exchange instead.

Nice, clean, newer hotel in downtown Colorado Springs. Parking is rough, but it’s downtown. Know that the valet team is the true gem at this hotel! They were so efficient and friendly- every single one of them. Across our 4 days they always had our car ready to go when we needed it and were so friendly. Hotel staff were also friendly and helpful, but the valet team was on it! Big kudos to them!

We had a prepaid booking for 3 rooms with this hotel on the 22 November 2025. However, we arrived two days early and agreed to pay for the additional 2 days. However, upon check out in the early hours of 23 November we were double charged for the last day! When we explained to the receptionist that we were double charged she was not really helpful and explained that she couldn’t do nothing until her manager started his shift. We were promised that the manager would contact us which he failed to do. We have since tried to contact this hotel for a refund and they will not respond. We have now had to contact our credit card company is raise a dispute. The level of customer service of this hotel is unacceptable and I certainly would never use a Hyatt hotel again.
