⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience staying at La Quinta on N Academy Blvd in Colorado Springs. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly throughout my stay. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service from the day manager, Heidi. Heidi went above and beyond to make sure guests were taken care of and that everything ran smoothly. She was professional, welcoming, and genuinely cared about providing a positive experience. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and sets a high standard for customer service. The location is convenient, the rooms were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Thanks to Heidi and the team, I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Colorado Springs.

I had an excellent experience at La Quinta North thanks to Seth. From the moment I arrived, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. It's rare to come across someone who takes such pride in providing great customer service, but Seth definitely does. His positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to help made a huge difference. Employees like Seth are the reason guests keep coming back. Thank you, Seth, for making my stay such a great experience. La Quinta is lucky to have you on their team!

The good. The rate we got was amazing 👏 (short notice for a funeral, we needed budget friendly) The breakfast had protein 😋 💪 hot scrambled eggs & sausage daily (also had cubed potatoes, bread/ toast, waffles, cereal, and yogurt) The AC worked great 👍 The mini fridge worked well (after adjusting the dial) The NOT so great Unfortunately (for our room) they allow pets (pet lovers good for you) BUT our room had a hint of urine smell every time we walked in, after a few minutes it wasn't noticeable but it was still there. The shower handle was nicely laid on the tub side, and was not user friendly to try and push on to adjust the temp or turn off and on (I stopped at a harbor freight and got some needles nose vise grips to make taking a shower easier and less risky for our 5 night stay) Note, they do require you to ask if you want new towels and sheets. We had a new lady at check in. She was great but missed that detail so that was a issue of missed communication. We had to ask for a hair dryer there wasn't one in the room. But they did have one 👍 Room was small, closet was in the bathroom (not my preference for moisture on the clothes from a hot shower) but we fit, the price worked, breakfast daily was good. Would stay here again, we were on the ground floor. May ask for a non pet room if possible. Gym was nice. Pool was silly shallow, like only 2' but kids had fun anyway. Front desk Staff was solid, maid service was great, kitchen cook.... I think the clean up and stuff gets to her she seemed stressed out in that position and not happy about it. Yes the parking lot is a bit confusing 😅 but we figured it out.

Alright but not terrible. Staff was great throughout weeklong stay for sports tournament. A/C worked good and plenty of hot water showers. Hot breakfast could be better prepared along with fresh fruits. Pool not as expected and could be warmer. Hotel is outdated and price was higher than valued yet purposeful for this trip.

This hotel was filthy when I arrived, the floors probably hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, garbage was on the floors next to several hallway garbage bins, the entrance sign had magic markers on it for the Q as that was broken, housekeepers were eating bfast down in the dining room w/ guests, there is a Super 8 Motel next to the site with homeless people sleeping on their cars and I saw them coming in for breakfast a few times. The breakfast area had many broken items. The room was disgusting - dirty lampshades, holes in the curtains, dirty stained walls, stained sheets, dirty chair in our room that we couldn’t even sit on because it was so filthy with stains, the sheets were piling so bad that I had to put my own blanket over them. It was hard to stay in that room as it was beyond filthy. The windows on the facility are all steamed up and you can barely see outside to look at the mountains. The chairs in the dining room were so dirty and stained I could barely sit in them. This place is really run down and the pictures don’t show what it’s actually like. This is a very low end hotel and its probably worse than the local motels around the area. Don’t stay here. Also, horrible customer service. I had to leave a day early due to an awful family emergency. I checked out at 12:00pm due to this emergency and they would not refund me for the night, they said their check out time was 11:00am. A one hour difference and they wouldn’t even help me out. The front desk was beyond rude and didn’t even care; I was visibly crying and they wouldn’t barely look at me. All they said was, “nope, that’s the policy”. No sense of care or wanting to help out people who stayed with them. I was going to take pictures and share these before I left, but due to my family emergency I didn’t. Do yourself a favor and don’t ever stay at this hotel.
