Omg! This place is so dirty and horrible. Everything was unplugged. For a reason. If two things are running it blows breaker I guess. Also. The microwave did not work. It was freezing in the room and the cheap space heater did not warm it up at all. It was dirty. Fridge stunk bad. One bed had no top sheet on it and only a thin blanket from the 70s with a huge burn hole. We had to put it on the bed we were sleeping in. To top it all off..... NO HOT WATER. Also no way to call office to ask for help with that. That was just a small percentage of issues. Not to mention the SMELL. WOW

I stayed here recently with my boyfriend, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was freezing and didn’t have working heat. The staff gave us a small space heater, but warned us that if we turned it up too high, the power would go out. It barely warmed the room. We asked for an extra blanket, but it had stains on it that looked like urine. One of the beds had cigarette burns and holes in the sheets. The whole room smelled old and musty, and the water never got hot. Overall, the place felt dirty, unsafe, and just neglected. I honestly felt uncomfortable being there. Even at $43, it wasn’t worth it. I would not stay here again.

If I could give less than one star I would, I stayed here years ago and it was a better place then. Now it is dirty slum motel and has a manager with anger management issues. He could have just given me new linens and I’d be fine, but to be yelled at in the process?!? Definitely not ok… I was not being unreasonable. I booked via booking.com. I went to the motel. I checked in. I handed the manager $100 cash, he handed me back $14. Said “deposit”. I went to the room, it smelled like mildew. Not great but fine, I can deal with it. I took a shower, half the water was coming out of the tub faucet and the other half the shower head. Also fine, I can deal with it. I’m not picky. The heater didn’t work either but I said nothing about that. Although I did see a guy getting a space heater from reception. Less fine, but was willing to deal with it. When I went to the bed, I saw it had cigarette ash on the pillow and the comforter was full of cigarette burns. I’m not ok with paying to sleep on a bed with linens that looked like they were stolen off a hobo’s shopping cart for what was supposed to be $50. On seeing this, I went to the office to notify the manager who doesnt speak great English (which is fine without the massive temper), he came out to look at it. We went in and looked at the bed and he started raising his voice at me and calling me a liar, he said it’s normal that cheap hotels have comforters that are full of giant cigarette holes. I told him it most assuredly was not normal, not even for $12, then he started raising his voice at me. I matched my volume to his, said he can just give me fresh linens, and told him not to raise his voice at me. It escalated into a shouting match. I said I want my money back, he harassed me the whole way to the office, and he only gave me $90 in return, said booking took the rest, which I think was a lie. I think he literally stole $10 from me out of petty spite. There is security camera footage of this whole exchange, and I am currently weighing whether or not to call the police over $10, but I would rather him just be fired. When he followed me back, and he went in the room while I was in my truck, he came out and yelled at me because I had taken a shower. I want to be very clear, I don’t think anyone should stay here unless it’s their last option next to sleeping in the street, and they don’t mind being verbally assaulted for daring to complain about legitimate things people SHOULD complain about! I have slept in cleaner “budget” accommodations in 3rd world countries, not tourist hotels, I’m talking $2 budget places in freaking Borneo. I am currently at a Travelodge that was the same exact price, it is immaculate, and there’s breakfast! (not being sponsored) I don’t know who the old Chinese manager guy is but he does not need to be working in the service industry, he’s a loose cannon and he’s bad at his job. For the owner, consider investing in some new linens, get a handyman to fix your plumbing and fix the damn heaters. This is crazy, if I wanted to see what Belarus feels like in winter, I’d just go to Belarus in winter. This is Colorado Springs, in February, home of “Space Force”. Fire the manager. For $50+ a night, this is not acceptable. Period!

NO HEAT IN JANUARY IN COLORADO! When it comes to hotels, I am used to staying in the lower end ones and don’t mind they aren’t all fancy and stuff but this one was just completely unacceptable! First, had a huge hassle with the guy I dealt with after booking. He just refused to believe I paid for my damn room after showing him the receipt and even my own bank statement and insisted on calling his son to check On some computer. It was 4am and I was exhausted. When I finally get to my room ITS FREEEZING. I start to go back to the guy and he meets me with a freaking space heater! And tells me don’t turn it on high. My room NEVER warmed up. I was cold all night and couldn’t even take a shower in the morning I was so damn cold. It dropped to 10 degrees last night this is not okay at all and I’m going to be contacting the BB
