This hotel was just decent. I felt like the room was just okay, not bad or dirty, but not anything fancy. We disliked that the breakfast lacked any variety during our 4 nights of stay, and we only got fresh towels and sheets once during our stay. Even though these things were a let down, the front desk staff were kind and helpful. We were able to get extra pillows right away when we asked for them at the front desk, and that was great! We stayed for GenCon, and we did really appreciate the connection to the Skywalk through the parking garage for an easy walk to the convention center and other surrounding buildings.

I normally don’t leave reviews. But this hotel stay included the absolute nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel ever. What beautiful souls! Location was great. Walk to the Lucas oil stadium was almost completely inside except for a little area between the convention center and the stadium. Kid friendly. 10/10 stay.

We stayed at this hotel for a HOSA conference with 17 kids and 4 adults. The staff were all amazing and super accommodating to us the students. They were always super nice, and helped with any requests or services we asked for, would absolutely recommend this location for your stay in Indy.

I would like to take time to compliment the wonderful front desk staff at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Downtown. My first encounter was with the evening shift. After a long drive from Oklahoma City, it was so pleasant to be greeted by the desk staff. I do lots of traveling and the best is to be greeted by staff that I can tell they are people and enjoy their jobs. After week checked in we were told about all the hotel amenities which was awesome. I then took a look around the lobby and was extremely clean, along with the breakfast area. My room was very nice and I always check my rooms out fully and I can housekeeping staff did an amazing job with the cleanliness of my room including the bathroom. Friday morning was our check out, and I asked Brooklyn it we to walk to convention to pick up our running packets because we were in Indianapolis for the Indy Mini Half marathon and it was 30,000 participants so the line might be long. Brooklyn said no problem at all. We picked up our packets and returned to hotel by noon to check out, because our bags were already packed. As we were checking out, I asked the clerk Brittany if we were allowed to park in the parking garage Saturday since we were checking out and our other friends that lived in Indianapolis had invited up to stay the night with them. Brittany said it’s a public parking too, so if we get there early we should be able to find a parking space. Saturday morning came, and we were thankful to find a parking spot. We did go up to the lobby of Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Downtown not knowing the lobby was just full of excited runners and the hotel was right at the finish line. Brooklyn had the bathrooms available for the runners while Brittany managed the front desk along with Gregory. I’ve never seen such team work at a hotel from desk. Honestly the hotel felt like it was the Host Hotel. We were able to even get a cup of coffee, and the kitchen staff was so exciting because runners were taking pictures with them and thanking them also. It was like pre-party before the race started because of the outstanding staff. As it came time to get in the corrals for the race, the lobby sure cleared out fast with exciting running and thanking all the staff supporting the runners as they headed out. The customer service, staff very caring, knowledgeable, and most of all made every runner in their lobby even if they didn’t stay there feel welcome. This was the first time I’ve stayed at a hotel, where I actually met the GM Gregory, because he was at the front desk helping his staff out, and just making sure things were going great for everyone I know all the Thanks You’s form so many runners made the staff feel, but I wanted to reach out and give a special Thank You, because you could have easily have said if you didn’t stay here you’re not allowed to hang out in the lobby. I hope the staff realized that runners are just a big family and when we meet up at a race it’s like a big family reunion, and Saturday morning May 2, 2026 was a big family reunion and the staff enjoyed us. Thanks again to Gregory, Brooklyn, Brittany, kitchen staff, and basically all the staff at the hotel. Deb Carrington

I think I still owe you money. My credit card was charged back or canceled by hotels.com. or the confirmation didn't go thru? I'm not sure but the whole staff and the front desk couldn't be more accommodating when they didn't have to. My room was booked there by mistake (hotels.com) and I didn't even have a clue about parking until I arrived from the booked appointment. Parking over night was going to be a nightmarish hassle as everything around the downtown area was "happening " all at once. I've never seen anything like this in any city where across the street there's a ball game, then a zoo/amphitheater and a lot of buzz while still being accommodating to everyone. 20* services. I'm not where we go from here about the room but I know where you all should go for a room on a mistake and still be treated like you belong there, even if it's just for a shower in my case.
