A loyal Marriott customer, this was my first stay at an Element, but my experience couldn't have been better. The free beer happy hour and upscale breakfast were a pleasant surprise. The in room kitchenette was nicely equipped. For a mid-scale hotel it gets 2 thumbs up. I would stay here over a Courtyard

really nice. At the time, it felt modern, fresh, and honestly like the next best thing since sliced cheese. It had that “wow” factor, and the market inside the building was a huge plus—convenient, well done, and something that made the place stand out. Fast forward to now, and it’s clear the hotel hasn’t kept up. The market is gone, and the rooms are showing their age. Nothing feels bad, but it definitely feels dated. This is one of those places that would benefit massively from a refresh—new fixtures, updated finishes, small repairs, and a serious walkthrough of every single room to see what needs attention. The bones are there. The location is solid. The potential is still very much alive. But it’s time for updates. A thoughtful renovation could easily bring this hotel back to what it once was—and what it should still be. I hope management takes a real look at the rooms and invests in bringing this place forward again, because it used to be great—and it could be again.

I actually really liked this place. The only problem was having to pay $15 for parking, until the stop arm mechanism wasn't working. The staff are very nice, and they remember you. The rooms were really nice. I like the regular size fridge. They also have a little visiting time with wine/beer in the evenings. They are close to restaurants. Overall I liked it.

Overall it’s a nice hotel in the area. While it’s is modern, it shows signs of heavy use. Things that can be improved are more glasses in the kitchenette and the cooking knife can be sharpened while a few little things around the place could be repaired - the printer is currently not working in the business centre which was unfortunate since I needed to print some items. The elevator is painstakingly slow as well. On a good note the nightly happy hour with beer and wine is a nice touch and the breakfast is great too.

Stayed at the hotel for a youth baseball tournament and the college world series. The hotel was at max capacity and sold out. I reserved a room with a pull out couch, when we arrived the couch was unmade. I went down to get sheets, pillow, blanket and was told that there were no sheets or blankets available. So the bed was unusable- management unable to help. The staff was overwhelmed by the number of guests. Calls to housekeeping went unanswered, the front desk phone never stopped ringing. This weekend happens every year- the staff did what they could but this was a management failure- they should have planned better- more supplies, more lobby staff, more housekeeping. If you are looking for a room on a busy weekend- my advice is to keep looking.
