Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District

I stayed at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District and decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. I ordered the smashburger with truffle fries and it was excellent. The smashburger was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the truffle fries were seasoned just right. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The bartender was also very hospitable and made the experience even better. Good service always makes a difference when you are traveling. One thing I have noticed about Marriott properties is that their restaurants often seem to have chefs who care about what they are doing. The food consistently feels like it is made with some pride and attention to detail, and this location was no exception. If you are staying at the hotel or walking around the Capitol District area, the restaurant here is definitely a good place to grab a burger and fries.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Omaha at the Capitol District while attending a conference, and everything about the experience was truly exceptional. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, the location couldn’t have been more convenient, and the conference facilities were top-notch. Everything ran smoothly and felt thoughtfully designed. One highlight of my visit was an evening at the hotel bar with a local friend. The atmosphere was welcoming on its own, but the General Manager, Carlo, went out of his way to stop by and ensure we were having a great time. His genuine hospitality made our night even more memorable. Overall, this hotel exceeded every expectation. I’ll absolutely choose it again the next time I’m in Omaha. Highly recommended!

My recent stay and ease of using the business lounge was top-notch. I needed to make a quick work deadline and having use of the space that was quiet, had ample room to spread out and plug in my laptop was wonderful. The atmosphere was inviting and conducive to getting everything done in time. Drinks and snacks in the lounge were a welcoming touch!

The hotel inside was immaculate as usual with extremely polite staff, the pool was jam packed with chaos, & trash, all over the place. They need to take a picture of how bad it really is and put that on their website. It depicted a peaceful clean pool instead we walked into full trash bins, Mcdonald's wrappers, beer cans, tumble weaves, shower caps, and dypers strung all over the place, it was a complete disaster. Will not be returning.

A bit pricey during big events like the college baseball world series or the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder Meeting, but you cannot beat the convenience of the location. Everything is walkable. The staff was great! Will be back!!
