I just checked out of the hotel this morning. I honestly didn’t expect anything less than incredible from this particular brand. I stayed at the Sheraton because I went to the NE concert and I wanted to find a hotel that was close and affordable. When I entered the lobby it was giving a very particular vibe. Almost like everyone there was there for a good time and life was great. There was no questionable vibes. I met quite a few people that were absolutely great. From the staff to the other guest that were staying. I have no complaints about my room (302). It faced the street so there was a nice view of downtown. The room was spacious and comfortable. Heat worked perfectly. Water was hot. The water was so hot, if you wanted cold, you had to let it run and turn cold. Which I had never seen before. I was actually impressed. Everything was easy I will be back.

Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, February 2026 Good: Service at the bar/restaurant was very good. The doorman/valet was friendly. Bad: Parking lot is confusing and not explained, resulting in double charge for parking - once on my bill and then at the parking gate because the room key sensor on the entrance gate is broken. Note: this almost seems like a scam. Mariott management should investigate this. Bad: The rooms are tiny. Not enough room for a true closet. The bathroom is very cramped. Bad: I, and other customers, had room keys that didn't work, resulting in a trip back downstairs to get them fixed. Bad: Reported issues with non-functioning exhaust fan in the bathroom. Engineering came up, looked at it and mumbled something and left. It was never addressed during my entire stay. Good: Elevators are fast. I usually waited less than a minute. Overall: Price for hotel and parking is out of line for what you're getting. The parking situation is deceptive and should be addressed.

Winter at the front desk was nothing short of incredible. Her professionalism, and genuine care turned our time in Charlotte into an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcomed and valued. The hotel itself was spotless, the rooftop was absolutely stunning, and the food exceeded every expectation, it was genuinely impressive. We’re truly grateful for the level of service we received. Experiences like this are rare, and because of it, we will absolutely be back. Thank you for setting such a high standard for hospitality.

This place is unacceptable for a Marriott property. It is an older hotel and some renovation has been done, but the workmanship was poor. Cleanliness of the rooms and public spaces could have been better. Only 2 of 4 elevators were working during our weekend stay; to me, this is an issue that techs should have been hired to fix with all elevators pronto. We stayed at the Fairfield on the same road up the street last year, and it is much spiffier and cleaner despite being a lower-grade hotel. I've stayed in lots of hotels and will not be returning to this one. It needs more renovation and obviously better management. Marriott, do better.

I want here for my annual church conference. The ballroom had no air. They brought in fans that did absolutely nothing. Out of 4 elevators, only 1 or 2 were working every day. It too 30-35 minutes to catch an elevator. And when the service elevator was down, we had to share with the employees, who had cats and things of that nature. Most days the ice machine wasn't working. They took my washcloths but never left me any new ones. I requested some from the front desk and never received those either. We were told the restaurant would be open until midnight and on Friday when I really needed food, they closed at 1130. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at any hotel, regardless of name.
