The hotel is located in a good neighborhood on the outskirts of town. At check-in there were heavy snow conditions, and sidewalks and the parking area were not fully cleared, which made them potentially hazardous. The property itself made a positive impression — tidy and well maintained. Rooms were clean and equipped with basic amenities. Breakfast was a standard American buffet and adequate; the coffee was excellent. Staff were very polite and helpful, especially at check-out — a definite highlight. Recommended for travelers seeking a clean, simple stay with friendly service; be mindful of winter weather and snow-clearing when visiting. We arrived at the hotel as two families — one checked in before us and our family arrived about 15–20 minutes later. The front-desk staff that day were unfortunately curt and unfriendly, giving brief, businesslike answers to our questions. Although the receptionist smiled, it felt forced rather than genuine. Overall, the stay could be greatly improved by staff training in guest communication and hospitality; a more warm and professional attitude at the front desk would leave a much better impression.

We absolutely loved the location of this hotel. Close to everything! The neighborhood was also beautiful and I appreciated the friendliness of the hotel staff. Breakfast was delicious and the variety offered, was good enough. Complimentary hot beverages in the lobby, was icing on the cake for me. Parking area was well lit and I appreciated the relaxation outdoor area at the side of the hotel. Will definitely recommend and may actually bring my family back, if we pass through the State again!

When you stay at a lot of hotels it's easy for them to all blend together and become just another stop. What makes a good hotel stand out is it's staff. We had a short stay with only two nights but the staff was so engaging and accommodating. The hotel location was perfect with lots of food and entertainment just a short walk away. Rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. To the manager, hold onto your employee Allora, she's one of the good ones and made our stay stand out! Thanks again for everything.

My hotel stay was overall nice. The location was great, and although the rooms were a bit small, they were mostly clean. We had a refrigerator but no microwave. We did request fresh sheets because ours had hair on them, but aside from that, the room itself was clean. My main issue was the service during breakfast. There were two pancake machines. One was out of order, and the working machine had a sign instructing guests to ask staff for assistance and not to open it. Another guest and I waited for assistance because no staff member was available. Eventually, the other guest went to the front desk to ask for help. Unfortunately, the young front desk clerk — a young Caucasian woman with blond hair whose name I did not get — was very unwelcoming and seemed bothered that we asked for assistance. Instead of coming over initially, she stated, “That’s not what it says. This machine is broken, that one works.” We explained there was also a sign on the other machine. She insisted there wasn’t one until she finally walked over, where I pointed directly to the sign. She then rudely responded, “Let me speak.” The issue seemed to be that she didn’t realize the sign instructed guests not to open the machine, likely because previous guests may have damaged the other one. After briefly checking, she went back to sitting at the front desk on her phone, and we later discovered the machine still wasn’t working because it was out of pancake batter. The Hispanic breakfast host later came to assist us. Although there was a language barrier, she was patient, kind, smiling, and genuinely tried to help, which we appreciated very much. When we checked out the next day, the same front desk clerk was again on her phone during checkout. The other desk clerks we encountered during our stay were friendly and welcoming — it was just that one employee whose attitude negatively impacted the experience.

What a find! The little “town” of Ayrsley tucked inside of Charlotte conveniently close to the beltway is a great stopover location. Ant the Tru by Hilton is an excellent choice. Fresh and new, very clean, great comfortable rooms, friendly staff, nice free breakfast, tons of free parking, and walking distance to many restaurants and businesses! What more could you ask for? GM Chris and his staff (Keisha was delightful) do a great job with this property. Highly recommend.
