Don’t let the photos online fool you. The location is good, and the hot water and water pressure were excellent, but that’s where the positives end. We are perfectly fine with older, non-renovated hotels and don’t expect luxury. However, this room was dirty and felt disgusting. The curtains were stained, the furniture was damaged, the refrigerator and kitchen area were filthy, there was visible dirt and grime around the windows and bathroom, and overall maintenance was extremely poor. The property offered to move us to another room, but it was in the same condition. We arrived late at night and had no realistic option to find another hotel, so we stayed one night and checked out the next morning. This property needs a deep cleaning and significant maintenance. Based on our experience, the room did not match the expectations created by the listing photos. I would not stay here again.

Trashy, dirty, and outdated hotel in a good location. Nothing like the pictures you see on expedia ect. We went for Point Break Festival so we weren't in the room except to sleep and shower but it was gross. Bed was very bad but we didn't see any signs of bedbugs. Overall this place sucks, don't stay here you will regret it. It is likely a trap house in the off season.

I travel all over and stay in various type of facilities depending on the trip. I looked for cheapest in walking distance to the beach and shops. For around 70$ I got this room. As a female solo traveler, I would consider it safe. The owners are very friendly! No issues with booking or any need to address any concerns but they were polite at checkin which seems rare anymore. The design of the motel is unique. The decor is above average. Cleanliness is below average, but I have seen worse. Room layout was generous in size and had all basic needs met, mini fridge and microwave. The upkeep is not well maintained. There are obvious issues everywhere and you can tell people stay who are not respectful of the property. The absolute worst thing, the smell. Its difficult to endure. At first its masked but quickly fades away. Be prepared to bring a room freshener or pillow mist. There is not much for sound barrier, so I heard a man coughing all night and a dog that barked. May want to consider benadryl if you find it difficult to sleep. Walking distance is very reasonable. Just understand you get what you pay for here and be prepared for strong smells and sounds. :)

The room was not cleaned properly before arrival. Sand and dirt was on the floor, smoke detector missing batteries, and the air conditioning unit leaked water on the floor during our entire stay. Smelled stale and of cigarette smoke. The staff was very friendly and provided towels to soak up the water but it was wet nonstop, changing out towels on the floor every day. This location was undergoing “renovations” while we were there but I would not recommend this place.

They need more towels and shower floor mat. It was convenient for a last minute trip to the beach. Whatever they spray in the room is very strong..no bugs and nice pool for the kids.
