The hotel was good! it was a little warm in the hallways but other than that the pool was nice and the rooms were clean, bathrooms are clean and the staff was very nice and helpful 🙂 The parking is different 🤷‍♀️ it's off site but it's less than a minute walk. The location is great The pier is right in your backyard and there's a little fair down the road. The restaurant inside the hotel is nice you should definitely try the egg rolls 🤤 this was our first time in Virginia Beach and we will definitely be back!

Located right on the Virginia Beach! Easy beach access, close to downtown and restaurants. We stayed during our visit to Virginia Beach, the rooms are good for couples and families, we could see the sunrise just from our balcony. The balcony was the best part. The staff are friendly. One small drawback is that the AC kept making a noise during the night, nothing major but could be an issue for light sleepers. Everything else is great! Also the pool is amazing!

Had a nice stay here. Sarah at the front desk was very kind and helpful...she gave a great restaurant recommendation. The Calypso downstairs is a bit loud at times (karaoke, live band, etc.). The shower was awful..... lukewarm with little water pressure. However, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and all I had to do was cross the boardwalk to get to the beach.

This hotel may be just steps from the beach but that is the only good thing about it. It’s extremely dated, run down, and it is definitely not clean. If you’re thinking about staying here, I’d think again. My husband booked what was supposed to be a romantic weekend here for our anniversary, and we were looking forward to it for weeks only to end up in a room with roaches. With the first roach as gross as it is, I tried to chalk it up to “sometimes bugs happen, we’re right on the water…” but when more crawled out from behind the wallpaper in the bathroom while I was in the shower, and additional ones were on the ceiling in the bedroom I knew there had to be an infestation not just a random one. We also ran the shower for over 20 minutes to get lukewarm water, but it was barely warm enough to take a fast shower. My husband went down to the front desk to tell them about the roaches in our room and the front desk moved us to a different room, but that room smelled horrible of old cigarette smoke. We walked into that room, and it smelled so bad we walked right back out. He went back downstairs to the front desk to tell them about the smokey smell in the new room, and we were moved again. At this point we were almost late for our anniversary dinner. The 3rd room they put us in was thankfully clean enough to stay for the night. The shower in that room did get hot but the tub didn’t drain so there was pretty deep standing water in the tub when trying to shower. Upon checkout a manager told my husband they would give us a refund for one of the nights because of the roaches (which she claimed were just water bugs… no they weren’t…. Other people left the same review of having roaches) and cigarette smell, but they haven’t. They also told him they would email him a receipt showing the pending refund but it’s been 3 weeks and they haven’t done either thing. We still haven’t gotten the receipt nor the refunded. Neither of us are complainers by nature. We’re generally pretty easy going and had the hotel simply been dated and in need of some maintenance and upkeep, we would have just sucked it up and tried to make the most of our stay, but for how much this hotel costs I’d at least expect a warm shower, smoke free stay, and no roaches. If you’re cool with roaches, cold showers, and old cigarette smoke, this is the place for you. If you’d prefer an actual clean, bug and smoke free room, complete with a hot shower that doesn’t turn into a bath because someone else’s hair has clogged up the drain, stay elsewhere.

Best Stay! The staff was super nice at all times and very helpful, from the front desk to the cleaning staff! The rooms were super clean the view of the ocean was super nice. Location was very easy to walk to different shops and eateries. We would definitely stay again. Thanks again to the staff for a great stay.!
