I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very clean, felt safe, and the staff were attentive and helpful throughout my visit. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the ocean view was absolutely beautiful. We had lunch at the restaurant twice during our stay, but unfortunately, we found the food to be disappointing and lacking flavor. That said, if you don’t absolutely need to stay right in the center of everything, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The overall experience was excellent, and the peaceful atmosphere made for a very enjoyable stay. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip to Virginia Beach.

Unfortunately, I feel compelled to share my experience. I stayed from June 1–5 and had an otherwise pleasant stay. However, more than 24 hours after checking out, I was charged $260 for a supposedly broken TV. When I called the hotel, the front desk manager, Don, informed me that another guest had already occupied the room. This raises a serious question: if another guest had already checked into the room, then housekeeping had presumably entered, cleaned, and inspected it after my departure. If the TV was damaged during my stay, where is the housekeeping report documenting that damage before the next guest checked in? The explanation I received became even more confusing when I was told that the current occupants had called down regarding the TV. Initially, I was told I was responsible for the damage, yet another guest had already taken possession of the room. At that point, determining responsibility should require evidence, not assumptions. During our conversation, Don stated that I had physically broken the TV, despite providing no proof, no inspection report, no timestamps, and no documentation connecting the damage to my stay. I have requested housekeeping records, inspection reports, and any relevant timestamps to support the charge. I want to be clear that the rest of my stay was enjoyable, and I especially appreciated the restaurant staff and other employees who were friendly and professional. However, I cannot overlook being charged for property damage after another guest had already occupied the room, nor can I accept being accused without evidence. If you stay here, I would recommend carefully reviewing your statements and requesting documentation for any post-checkout charges. Rhianna

I really enjoyed my 39th birthday there! It was peaceful and quiet just what I needed. The room was perfect, I spent most of the time on the balcony just enjoying the weather, the sun and star gazing at night. The hotel was in a good area very quiet made it feel like I was at home just without my boys. I tried To record the crabs on the beach, a jelly fish and whatever else I saw for my boys! I wanted to take walk on the beach at night but I was by myself. I will be back with my boys!

I recently stayed here and I'm an actual paying customer! Simply put, if you're looking for a great place to get away for awhile, let loose and unwind, relax, write a book, or just love, this is IT! I can't speak for everyone because each persons situation is unique. But as for me, everyone of the staff really went the extra mile to make sure I enjoyed my stay. My room was clean, there was ample parking, there's a restaurant there and a live band and DJ sometimes. I'm sorry I didn't have more time to cover all the amenities and other features that truly deserve to be looked at. Maybe next time. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself. P.S. Fantastic view. I loved watching the sunrise from our balcony - unfortunately, sunrise was the only time I could use the balcony as every other time I opened the doors the smell of people smoking weed and cigars was overpowering. The hallways smelled like weed as well. When I spoke to staff, they seemed like they didn't care at all. Elevators were unreliable. Luggage carts were extremely hard to find and didn't turn well once we found them. People were actually arguing loudly over who got to use the carts first. Ceilings in the hallway needed repair - probably due to the windows leaking. Some shady characters roaming around the property at all hours. I saw one security staff and only a few cameras. The manager only offered excuses. All-in-all, NOT what I expected from a Wyndham property. The place felt more like a Super 8 - except Wyndham won't even provide complimentary coffee here. $4 for stale coffee in the restaurant or some kind of gross, weak coffee in the room. For the price we paid, we expected more. Could've stayed in a nicer place down the road for less.
